That is correct. The body needs an atonement just as much as the soul. The body undergoes some form of "cleansing" in this world or by way of Reincarnation. The reward for the body is what the Resurrection is all about - when the new body along with the soul will experience a physical reward.

Richard, the church fathers "stole" kabbalistic Jewish teaching and adapted it to suit their purpose. I studied the church fathers as a Xian and studied the O.T. (Only Testament) in Hebrew and found I could not embrace the doctrine of Xianity any longer. Suzy - HaShem says otherwise. That we CAN do it. Deuteronomy/Devarim 30 (all but esp. v 11-14).
