When I hear this song now, I can't help but think of young girls who were 6 or 7 years old when this movie first came out, and then would have been 12 or 13 when the pandemic hit. Now they'd be 14 or 15, and feeling this SO HARD right now. Can't even imagine - all of you kids are so strong.
This was me !! I'm 15 now but I vividly remember when frozen came out- I loved it !! And it's still my favorite Disney film !! I even saw this musical two weeks ago it was amazing !!
me!! i had just turned 13 when covid started now i’m 15
@@aven4812 Yep Exact Same !!
Literally me!!
lowkey same but now im like 17.. woah what
Thank you for performing a number that doesn’t get a lot of play. We didn’t need to hear let it go one more time. Great performance.
All the songs from the movie are great. I haven't heard the original songs added in the theatrical version.
Trivia: This was originally written to be the main song of the movie. Then "Let It Go" was written and they realized that had to rewrite the story around it.
@@Paulxl What original songs?
@@akmaldanial67 There are like 12 songs in the Frozen musical that didn't appear in the movie. I recommend you to give a look to the Wikipedia article about the musical. There are too many to list here.
@@TDIBone that's unfortunate and really explains why the movie was changed from being about two sisters to... Elsa and occasionally Anna :/
I saw this on Broadway with the original cast and let me say I have never loved a musicals costuming and sets more I swear it was GORGEOUS
I saw this in may, it was honestly amazing in the west end, I loved it sm
The vocals thier acting is just on different level... Very impressive
The one playing Anna has a slight goofiness and lovable factor... I love it!
The actress playing Anna should also be cast as Glinda
Exactly what I was thinking!
Feel like she’s trying too hard to be her… and her breaths between notes is not good or in right parts. Just my opinion.
Me too! Many of her little personal additions have the Glinda flair!
@@lexiebaker5511 pshhh like you can do any better. Yall can't appreciate anything, she did great! She added a lot of character of anna
@@felmar9282 i think what lexie was trying to say is that this actress uses a bad technique when singing, which i can see and hear as well. now, i'm not saying she's bad as anna, but i'm rather worried for her vocal chords as she ages. other than that, she did great and she would be lovely to see anyway!:)
This must be incredibly hard to perform. The running, getting dressed while concentrating on singing the correct lyrics...
Oof. Nice one! :3
As a dresser at my local theatre who does touring broadway shows and as a costume seamstress at our local ballet company.....this gives me nightmares. So much time has gone into this quick change scene work perfectly. I can only imagine the actors feeling so daunted those first few shows. So much can go wrong, but it is so much fun when it all goes right!
As soon as I heard Samantha’s voice I cried. I forgot how much I missed theatre
@@seedsoflove7684 she’s eponine in the film of Les Miserables
I knew I recognized her! 😂
i dont even know a Samantha!
Fun fact, one of the ladies helping Anna get dressed is the understudy for Samantha Barks (Elsa) and she is very good
I love that the West End has a younger cast, than the Broadway cast seem to have
They deserve more than applause
Probably salary
I was 9 when I first watch Frozen in 2013, then I was 15 when I watch Frozen 2 in 2019 - the year b4 COVID hits. Going to turn 18 this year and just can’t believe how fast time flies!!
yeah time flies ☃️
I totally get you I had just turned 12 when I first watched Frozen in 2013 now i'm going to turn 21 in a few months, and it's crazy for me to think that i'm turning Elsa's age in the first movie
Same
Me too omg!
Wooow
Them walking in on beat at 3:49 is just so powerful. I cry.. 😢
The actress playing Anna is bloody
Phenomenal
Steph McKeon is just AMAZING. What a voice! What a performance! So happy to have been able to see her perform this role live. 🙏🏽✨❤️
This is the first live version of the song I've watched since the pandemic started, so its title has a double meaning to me which made me cry.
Samantha Barks is just perfection 🥰
the vocals are on point. wow such talents
just saw the north american tour a few weeks ago in florida and i have to say this show is absolutely AMAZING!!! i absolutely adore how they portrayed the movie but added so much more character to it. this cast is so beautiful as well! a beautiful performance :)))!!!
Saw the Orlando show with Berklea Going and I was FLOORED. Best night of my life :)
Stunning show. Seen it with my young daughters. Samantha Banks is a superb Elsa but Stephanie McKeon steals the show as Anna, she couldn’t be more perfectly cast. Shame the schedule wore her down that she had no choice but to hang up her princess dress. Last show this weekend for her.
And she is totally gorgeous.
What a beautiful set!!!! I got goosebumps when the gate opened.
watched this live last week and shed a tear from how beautiful it was LOL.. im so thankful i was able to experience this
I didn't even recognise her with blonde hair until she started singing lol
Can I just add, anyone is entitled to a negative comment. While I didn't see anyone veering downright hateful, let's remember that anyone performing on this night is taking a 5-7 minute song showcasing its best parts it 2-3 minutes and singing in a theatre they aren't used to. Perhaps they only got to do one run through before the live show. Just my two cents
That's the magic of LIVE shows, the imperfections 😁. Those who nitpicked this performance might as well only watch the movie 🙄
I was 12 when I first heard this song and now, I am 20.
Me too. Time just flies so fast
Same. It's crazy man
Same! I am 20 but I feel like 16
SAME
@@andreagarciamedrano4228 haha you basically are 16
Stephanie McKeon just PERFECTLY portrayed the role of Anna!! She was so adorable🧡
She was Anna back when I went to see the show with my mom, my niece and a friend of our family. All four of us loved it and Samantha Barks and Stephanie McKeon especially stood out to me as Elsa and Anna, they were perfectly cast! :)
@@DidrickNamtvedt i saw them way back 2 years ago. It was my wife's first ever musical. She was crying with so much joy while watching. A few days later i got her a cameo video of samantha and stephanie greeting her a merry christmas and sang a small line from the frozen song. Might book another ticket before the show officially ends this august i think.
just before the pandemic hit, I got to see this musical in person. listening this from RUclips, still amazing.
I honestly like the West End Anna better then the Broadway Anna. The Broadway Anna tried to make the character too quirky and funny. The West End Anna reminded me how she was portrayed in the movie more. I liked it.
well you should watch the other broadway anna, in a certain slime tutorial, she’s so good
That Anna is fabulous
Samantha Barks is a GODDESS and kills every role she does
This is Samantha Barks??
@@anaybarra2800 she’s Elsa!
@@AuthorZaraHoffman Oh woww! 😍
Totally seeing Elphaba (Elsa) and Glinda (Anna) from this. 👏😅
Okay I’ve seen videos of a couple different Anna’s and I think she’s my favorite ❤️ Most of them lean heavily towards Anna’s socially awkward dorky side but this one captures more of her naivety and longing
It's so cool to see this performed on stage
DISNEY PLEASE RELEASE A LONDON CAST RECORDING (and don't make it heavily autotuned)
I first saw Samantha Barks as Sally Bowles in Cabaret. I think it was her first starring role opposite Wayne Sleep as the MC. That was a long time ago. She’s come a long way!
I can’t believe I didn’t recognize her. She was the first Eponine that I ever seen when it comes to professional productions
@@musicalmagpie741 ?
@@jessbrannon_actor Yes 🙂?

@@jessbrannon_actor Saw! I meant saw. Apologies
Love it!!! I Watched it in London last September and I still keep listening to it!!!
can we appreciate how cute and realistic sven is, cant even see the puppeteers!
I wished we could see the entire stage productions for a fee of course after they stop performing live. Millions of us never get a chance to see these amazing performances.
I saw it a few weeks ago and it was amazing! I 100% recommend it! :)
Saw this in London last week. It was so good.
Frozen is fabulous
God I love that Sven outfit puppet combo
oh my gosh Sven is in sync!! and bowing!!
Damn it. I teared up. That was too good.
Frozen came out when I was 12…. I still love it till now…
absolutely astonishing performance and it is having a significantly great value for the audience. things are getting change with the new technology over the time and absolutely it's a wonderful, phenomenal performance and i would say that this is the type of performances that we need in this universe.
the costumes are amazing
안나 그자체!!진짜 사랑스러워
I NEED TO GO SEE THIS SHOW
This is so beautiful.
Truly beautiful. I've never understood musicals but now I do. I adore Frozen and I think I've fallen in love.
Goosebumps
this is PHENOMENAL
Wow... fantastic!!!!
Oww.. My head goosebumps. I can't imagine if i'm being the audience
I was 4 when I watched frozen and it was the first movie I went to watch in the cinema. Now, I am 13 years old and watching this brings back so many memories.
Mine was Kung Fu panda.

Anna is the true lead of Frozen.
She always was the protagonist.
I was 8 when this came out, and I’m turning 18 next year and graduating school
Well, Happy Early Birthday
The best

im so sad this masterpiece is closing in the west end!
seeing grown ass adults screaming when elsa appears is kinda fun, the girl is The queen Lol
Great performer as Anna. Random side note, Stephanie McKeon voices Asuka in the Netflix version of Neon Genesis Evangelion
i'm exhausted
I've watched the show 2 times
Anyone else listening to this on repeat??
