Visiting the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu) in Hanoi 🇻🇳

The Temple of Literature was the first university in Vietnam, founded more than 1000 years ago. It was not a university in the way we think of them today, but a Confucianist temple dedicated to educate the future elites in the country.
It has not been active for the last few hundred years, but it's still pretty so we decided to have a look!
Let's visit Van Mieu, aka the Temple of Literature!

In China they are called “Wen Miao”, as you can see the pronunciation is pretty close, because it is the same Chinese word : 文庙
