Just purchased Vocalise AND Vocalise 2! Looking forward to this! I also bought GP01 Natural Forces! You are doing amazing work Heavyocity! Keep it coming!
Hi Marko, how have your purchases worked out for you in the end? was it worth it to get both versions of vocalise? I would have thought 2 would suffice. Thanks
Nice! Can you loop one vocal phrase to make it sound sustained or is there any sustained notes/phrases? Also, what is the difference between version 1 and 2 of this?
this is amazing!do i need to use kontak player or gravity to use this one?can i use this as a vst for ableton?also does this need a sampler to be used or can it be used as a independent plug in like analog lab?thanks
As long as you are able to run the latest version of Kontakt on your machine, you will be able to use our instruments. If you need it, you can get the free Kontakt player here: www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-6-player/free-download/ . Hope that helps!
Hi Christopher, Vocalise 2 is a follow-up to the first Vocalise. Vocalise 2 consists of all new content - more phrases & pads while also adding rhythmic pedals and motifs. One big difference is that Vocalise 2 is tempo-synced and the first one was not. Hope that helps clarify! Thanks!

So just to clarify, this IS a vst that I can play the sounds through my midi keyboard as well as a plugin with loops and prerecorded phrases and melodies from the vocalists mentioned?
Yes - Vocalise 2 is a vst for Kontakt and the free Kontakt Player. All the content can be triggered using a MIDI controller, which includes playable pads, as well as tempo-synced phrases, motifs, and rhythmic pedals. Hope this helps!
The question I have is.. if many people use these in music.. wont it not be as authentic as those who hire choir/singers? Like would these ever be used in movie/tv show productions and doesn't matter if others used the same sounds?

@@Heavyocitymedia Hi, when you say Vocalise 1 isn't tempo-synced, are you talking about the phrases? Also, are the short phrases (vocal chops across the keyboard) in Vocalise 1 pitch-alterable?
@@chrisroyer Yes - the phrases in Vocalise 1 were recorded rubato (to best match the phrase and the timbre of the singer's voice), so they aren't tempo-synced. And yes, the short phrases are pitch alterable (there are tuning keys). Hope that helps!

Hey there, our support team would be happy to try to help you with this issue. You can shoot them an email at support@heavyocity.com and they can correspond with you from there.
Thanks for the feedback! We're always looking for features and content to add to future instruments - so we'll keep your suggestion in mind! Thanks again!
in your example, Am plays an A. You wanna play a C under it, and you're dealing with a sus6 major chord - still major but hardly what I think Thorpe 4901 was looking for. And not what I'd be looking for either.@@livingwithaspergers7733
Ok, what is a sus 6 major chord? Last time I checked, only sus 2 and 4 chords exist. Also, relative Minor and Major hold the same notes, and I'm pretty sure Heavyocity was just assuming most of the people using their VST use minor chords because it is used a lot for all kinds of music from classical to cinematic to EDM. Major and Minor are just different scales. I've seen plenty of musicians use Minor scales to make happy sounding music (Rainbow Road by Nanobii is a good example).
Hey there! All of our Kontakt instruments run fully on the free Kontakt Player, so no additional software is required! You can download Kontakt Player here: www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/samplers/kontakt-6-player/free-download/
Hi Rudolf! Both Vocalise releases are comprised of content created from female vocalists -- no male vocalists in these releases. Definitely something we may do in a future instrument though! Thanks-
@@Heavyocitymedia Oh, you answered the exact opposite above, saying that Vocalise 1 and Mosaic Voices have some male voices... Well, minor only + no male, will wait for Vocalise 3 :)
Hey there, the original recordings for the phrases were in four keys, but there are tuning keys on the left-most end of your midi keyboard, so you can tune the phrases to whatever key you'd like. The other content contained in Vocalise 2 are playable and mapped along the keyboard. Hope this helps!
Such a huge fan of Heavyocity. Well done all!
Wow, this is pretty cool. No more time-stretching and losing quality of the vocals when speeding up/slowing down over 20-30 bpm's
1:34 Thanks, amazing sound !
The first one was amazing!
best vocal synth out there..ive tried loads but none are as deep or offer usuabilty of content..a must buy

Incredibly inspiring. Good work as always. Loving Heavyocity.
sheesh this is beautiful
def worth the 50 bucks on sale!
Man this is epic.
What does it mean, when you guys says, the phrase is in A minor ? is that A minor scale, or A minor chord?
amazinggggg !
Can you play your own melodies like an instrument across the keys, or are these mainly pre recorded phrases set in a certain key? Thanks.
I need this for my trance productions! When will this be in sale again for 50 euros?

If I already use Vocalise 2 Gravity Pack 02. Can I use preset Pack 04?
Is Vocalise 2 a free upgrade for Gravity complete owners? In fact I own every single Heavyocity library. I didn't receive any email about the upgrade.
would like to know too

Would have been a 10/10 for me if you guys had added major phrases.
Thanks for the feedback! We're always looking for features and content to add to future instruments - so we'll keep your suggestion in mind! Thanks again!
Use the relative major. For A minor, C is the relative major. Since they use the same notes, people won't be able to tell the phrases are in minor!
