Busquets had the best possible teacher in Pep. In a way, he was the player Guardiola always dreamed of being.
agree but lets not pretend pep wasnt a class player
@@jasonlewis5851 He was but still nowhere near as good as Busquets. Sergio B is one of the best defensive midfielders EVER. Guardiola, unfortunately didn't have technical attributes and ball mastery that busquets possess.
@@Sajangrg69 u don't have to tell me mate. i rate buse highly and i think a tenet of understanding football is that you must rate him to the moon and back those who don't don't understand the game. so all credit to buse i jusr wish ppl would stop acting like pep was only averags or a bit above average in his playing days. he starts for every team in the prem
@@jasonlewis5851 Busquets was a better player and one of the most disrespected and underrated players ever
@@zombievikinggaming4258 disrespected? By who?
I think u want to say underrated
This was one of Michael Laudrups trade mark passes. His passing skills were fantastic. Pep learned from him.
Laudrup deserved a balon dor
And he made it better than laud
Laud learned from Andy Fati
@@jerrybnasty5115 here comes the casual
who the fuck told you that?!
It's why he loved Busquets so much at Barca. Also the same thing with Rodri at city. That's why pep payed 60 mil for Rodri
Yes with Kimich as well
@🌟 Katie Tutorials yeah he messed up
So to lose semi final vs madrid.
@@rafeelhyder2875 Still outplayed Madrid
@@vb8428 cry.
I wonder if busquets will be as great of a manager as pep
Doubt it
Bouquets is stupid
I feel like Busquets is incredibly fulfilled with his playing career. Literally won everything. Whereas Pep had a chip on his shoulder when he retired that was physically very visible. (Just look at his reaction when he got subbed off on his final Barcelona game). I believe that this tenacity to prove himself post-retirement (and his love for the game ofc) has manifested itself in this undying intensity for perfection.
His main tactic will be diving😂😂
Busquets may be one of the most silent footballer you might have seen but the man is a genius in his mind as well as with the ball.
He passed the ball to Xavi, that's amazing
The fact that he passed the ball to Xavi is insane
Check in 2002, Nobody wanted Xavi. This was insane not even a Barca fan and I remember the Dutch Invasion.
@@Geolpx What did the Dutch invasion change to this?
@@guus5504 They made the players train on wooden shoes, which resulted in better ball control. The players also started some tulip gardening which in return calmed their minds. The defenders learned how to build dikes. This team would dominate the competition even when critics thought they would be below level.
This team would have been the greatest ever if they had lord Nicklas Bendtner as their striker.
@@SlagroomenCornflakes Funny
@@Geolpx Nonsense. Xavi was a starter in 2002 under Van Gaal which is actually the coach that made him debut on first team. Van Gaal is so underrated it's ridiculous. He promoted a bunch of super star players from youth teams: Xavi, Puyol, Davids, Iniesta, Kluivert, Musampa, Rashford, Seedorf, Valdés... I dare you find another coach with such a record.
Pep: “I think they will know where I will pass so I have to overthink to outplay them”
-The rest is history-
Brilliant 😁
You know Cryuff has evolved football to a whole lot when his students's students are doing Good. Gaurdiola at his position was an undisputed player , the position then was taken by Pirlo although Pirlo's main strength was his Pings & then came Busquets & it was like Pep himself reincarnated. What Zidane was as an Attacking Mid , Pep was like that according to the Playstyle.
I don't agree that Guardiola at his position was an "undisputed player". He was good, but not among the best of his era. Busquets is what Guardiola would have liked to be in almost every aspect.
Bro doesn't put Guardiola and Pirlo in the same sentence 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
“Look Simon , I was an exceptional player. I was never on the bench”

Pep was a truly great player. Great player, and an even better manager.
I remember Guardiola once doing the best no look passed assist I ever saw. Watched it in a 'goals of the week' type compilation, but haven't been able to find it since. Remember it was in the league, and it was assisted to Patrick Kluivert.
against valencia i think ruclips.net/video/Qu8o8dO7UKM/видео.html right at the beginning of the video. Barca won 3:0, but a few weeks later they crashed out against the same valencia team in the semi finals of the champions league.
This guy is just naturally intelligent
Pep as a player is underrated
I play as a deep-lying midfielder and I idolise Pirlo in my position. This one is my trump card. You can't use it all the time, they'll predict this and your mistake can lead to a counter. There's exercises to improve your peripheral vision, but I'm not going into all that.
Damn. Making movies and playing ball.
So, if you idolise pirlo, can I assume you are not just an ordinary deep lying playmaker? You also possess the flair of pirlo/modric, at the same time able to dictate the tempo of the game while screening the defence like an effective regista? Haha, I'm just wondering.
@@adolphsow607 idolize not play like
Which Sunday pub team do you play for then?
@@maratonlegendelenemirei3352 let me ask you in return, why do you care so much with such desperation?
I never knew Pep played football. Let alone at this level. My mind is blown. Now he's an elite level coach too. Goes to show how deep his love for the game is. His hunger is spiritual.
Yeah, he was an elite player as well. Mostly average technically but compensated by his tactical knowledge and leadership skills and he was the captain of the "Dream Team" @ Barca. It's really interesting, if you read about it.
@@signavite thanks for this. I'm not a football fanatic and the snobs always try their best to make anyone who isn't as knowledgeable look stupid so yeah. Thanks.
@@mfundoh8148 Side note he also played in Mexico with Dorados de Sinaloa, same team Maradona coached (show is available in Netflix).
Bruh a lot of managers were players
Of course he played football. Almost every elite level manager was once a player.
Pep with hair is a strange sight.
he lost his hair when he coached Barcelona
I honestly believe that he learned it from Michael Laudrup.
These things you don't learn ,that's his natural signature/skill . I'm not a professional player ,but I do this very often and no one taught me that ,it's natural from my skills.
Considering Laudrup was his idol and favourite player... yep, he probably did.
Maybe Laudrup learned a thing or two from Michel Platini? :D
Although he (Laudrup) already showed insane dribbling prowess and vision as a teenager in Denmark..!
Its not some individual skill that a few people has anyone can do that
some moves are naturally picked and developed based on your natural smartness and iq
pep one of the best players and now one of the best managers
The hand gesture he made at the end, he still makes those till today😂😂
He's one of the underrated players, only a few individual awards he got as a player.
Someone: What is common in all Catalans?
Me: Disguised passing ability
So grateful for this. I learned to play the game like this from Xavi himself in a video and I couldn't be happier playing soccer. Lots of people hate it and don't understand this; especially here in The States.
Did anyone notice the receiver for his ball between the lines was always Messi?
Busquets for u.
He would always find Messi with his pass, and always wait for Messi to come take the ball off his feet anytime Messi pass to him.
I like their combo
Pep was an excellent passer. More than you believe. More than you believe.
A whole of 2 examples? Just marvelous video…
Thiago is also like this
He prob learn directly from Pep since he was his former manager in Bayern
@@notanalien9041 Also at Barca
Kroos is another player that is exceptional at this.
Djalminha the Best desguissed passar ever
Pep slick with it.
I feel this is something I see every player do. I like Vintage Footy this one I was expecting something different. It's ok they all don't have to be some crazy thing.
guys, this really works for anyone, i do it in my games and it's really efficient. I learned a lot from watching Busquets, he is an master for me.
that is why I am huge fan of Barca because they play tiki takka and i really miss those days❤😢😂😊
Golden era.
Agree💙❤
As a barcelona fan i think busquets can will be a legendary manager because his IQ is unreal
I don't like some of his antics, and I'm not sure if he'll be a great manager.
I hope one day Nico becomes like this
Pep, Bosq, Nico in that order...
Those are actually real no look passes. Not the ones ronaldinho did. When you look away the moment you pass the ball, youre not fooling anyone. But if you look in another direction before you actually pass the ball, your chance of surprising the defense is much higher
Yeah obviously. That was just a part of Ronaldinho's showboating. But his by through balls were the actual threat. They were extremely unpredictable.
Exactly how I play too, shame I don’t have videos.
De La Pena was disguised passes master
I see such passes, I remember Thiago ❤️
Finally i find the comment i lookin for, Thiago Alcantara❤️
I think him disguising some hair on top of his fraud sensor is what's most impressive
CDM s and CM s are great Managers
There's also one player who knows Disguised Defense skill.
Maguire throughout his career and Virgil againt Madrid.
@@Chip_Fuse your comment deserves a pin! This was a good one. :’)
HARRY MAGUIIIIIIREEEEEE
with all due respect to pep, busquests does it way better, you can clearly see defenders falling for it and moving away , leaving the cenrte open (huge blunder) but in pep's case they did not fall for it. Another thing is busquests uses this only once or twice in a game, he knows that this pass can be predicted and if intercepted will result in a dangerous counter. So you rarely see him do this too many times in a game unless the opposition falls for it nearly everytime , which busquests is intelligent enough to pick that as well mid-game.
Busquets definitely is a much better version of Guardiola.
was it only me that did think about ancara messi when the comentator said xavi.
Because he will go down as the best coach ever ppl forget he was one of the best midfielders too
Pep and Bruce Willis are two of the few people who looks better bald
Ronaldihno does this with so much ease..I think he’s the best at it
He would literally look away.
You see the match you don't see Busi..
You see busi you see the whole game🔥
Pep was team captain, didnt even knew that
Guardiola is a true Barcelona legend 🙌
He must've been in love with Messi when he was the coach
Nice, very nice!

Pep makes me believe in second chances. Though he was not the best footballer at his time, he turned out to be one of the best managers.
There is no better unconventional passer than guti
Hello, do you know the name of the stadium in the third example ( the last with Busquets ) ?
The difference is that Pep only did them in that one match you showed

Busquets still gets his recognition as one of greatest CDM but Pep is truely underrated there's a reason why Cruyff wanted him to be his dream Barca team's No.6🧠
Pep and Busquets: Never let them know your next move
Only I am there to talk about myself and to be honest I also use to do this without knowing these were the greats who use to this. 🙏🏼
I am not a professional just play it for recreation
Young Pep looks like Djokovic.

Loved Pep as a player and love him now as a Manager - but where did all that hair go? COYS!
Laughs in Thiago
Disguised? You and I remember him differently
If someone can fill pep shows its busiqets .. he is so technical calm and flow like watar but if you can control the flow of water you own the world
I like to think that Busquets is Guardiola's evolution, and Rodri is Busquets' evolution. It's like a CDM Pokémon evolutionary line 😂
The Busquets before Busquets
Imagine Guardiola being trained by Guardiola...
De Bryune must have learned it from him
I think this is something every top tier Spanish midfielder does
Thiago does the same thing now that you mention it 🤔
Guti was disguising assists
