Great video man! The card I was looking but the price in Europe is insane and the availability... The more I think about it the more I feel lucky to have bought a great 3060 Ti for 500€, which is still a bit expensive for mid range QHD.
I got a standard Powercolor 6700XT (non HellHound) because it was the only reasonably priced model in Australia (AU$709). Hope it performs just as well 👍🏼
I was considering changing the paste, but my temps are still in a similar range. So it doesn't seem necessary. It was the hot spot that had me questioning this and considering it.
its a great GPU, compare to XFX, biostar, asrock, palit, zotac, i prefer the PowerColor. The thing is i don't like the blue light coming out of nowhere.
Got this card in bequiet 601 case and i hear fans humming on graphic card pretty loud, I'm thinking is it normal that i hear them on a minimal 1050 rpm from a 3-4 feet range in a closed case, or do i need to take it to the service?
Do you guys use Afterburner? The card itself should turn off the fans unless it reaches 50 degrees Celsius, which it should only do under load in a case with good air-flow, but Afterburner or other OC software can overwrite the fan-profile to be always-on. As for what it sounds like under load, there's no card on the planet that's going to be completely silent, especially not with three fans. I switched a two-fan 2060S out with this GPU, and it's remarkably quieter even when the fans are going at 80% under something like Total War Warhammer 3.
@@Horvath_Gabor I personally just use wattman and can end up with my fan always on if I configure it that way. I always run higher fan rpms than whatever the default is. It helps keep temps where I like them.
I just got this card (reference) for about 900 usd. 3070 priced at 1500 usd in my country lmao. I can't recommend this card due to the driver. I hope AMD give some updates soon
How reliable is powercolor as a brand?? I feel like this hell hound may be the go if I can get one. Update: unfortunately my local retailers had no hell hounds. Almost pulled the trigger on the red devil but the sapphire nitro was cheaper so copped one of those instead. 👌
Well this is the first card I've owned from them. But telling from the cooler performance on this thing, they build a robust card. I mean this heatsink design is massive and overkill for the card, but executes the job very well.
@@jdtechgear i may try focus my buying power on the hound then. Im really impressed with the cooling and power consumption. The MSI, sapphire and Radeon def have better designs aesthetically tho. Wish me luck 👌
they been making one of the best AMD cards out there with Red Devil, now with the Hellhound it seems they are targeting Pulse from Sapphire, PowerColor is doing pretty good.
@@valveezy6672 for me windows game mode caused all my issues. Massive stutters until I turned it off. I didn't even know that setting was a thing. Just in case it doesn't exist on 11 I'm still using 10.
Reuploaded since the schedule function killed visibility. But if that's what it's supposed to be...then it ezzz what it ezzzz.
@focke wulf If I could run on no sleep I totally would. Thanks for being here, I might plan on testing this card further for some smaller sub topics.

Great review, very informative. Much love.
Call me tacky but I love the HellHound!
I don't think it's too tacky, I really like the color scheme on the logo on the backplate
I actually managed to buy one of these. Color amazed.
How is this man not as popular :(
To be honest the hellhound sounds and looks fucking mint
aay jd its been long time since I visited your channel. Remember the storm? Btw In the initial shots what id you use a slider?
I just want that one cause the illuminations of the card match my build perfectly

lol dude it has a physical switch to turn it off
I don't mind the lighting and I even like to have mismatched lighting. So for me I don't mind it at all.
Power color is a good brand?
Can I use rx 6700xt 12gb gpu with a Corsair cv550w psu? My cpu is Ryzen 5 5600G and motherboard is msi b450m mortar max.
Thanks !

just got this card today and it does the same thing, a deep sound even at 1050 rpm

2:30 - 2:33, i saw the colors slightly change. i thought it was only one color. or did you somehow get it to change with openRGB/signalRGB?
maybe it was from MB rgb
Love your videos JD
Always appreciate you being here bro
@@jdtechgear I appreciate you too brother
What are the lighting colors available for the Hellhound Series?
I currently have the RTX 3060 Tuf edition, would this be an upgrade over my current card?
Yes but don’t since it’s not worth the money for the performance increase
@@Goose_is_king basically a side grade then.
Is any amd without coil whine ?
I just bought this one for 649 USD exact, free shipping and tax free

powercolor have been one of amds leading board partners for years, i normally go for either sapphire or powercolor for amd.

Do you have the option to turn the blue lights off if you want?
Late reply, but you can, by a switch on the card itself.
Just got this bad boy for 400$ 😎
any complaints?
