Hans said it is his style to force people into "only moves." So yeah, people wonder why his games are chaotic. That is a big reason why. He isnt always playing the best move because he wants to create those sharp positions.
I'm not convinced it is possible to play that way at blitz time controls. Lasker played this way.

Who thinks Magnus will duck the match against Hans, either by "losing" to Arjun or winning it and just forfeiting vs Hans? I think it's highly likely. If I'm right it exposes a big character flaw in one Magnus Carlsen.
He should be embarrassed to be honest. And punished by FIDE for what he instigated. I know he lost a law suit but FIDE should also punish Magnus. There’s no place for elitism in sports of any kind.
@@searsino They already did, Magnus got a $10K fine for leaving the Singfield cup. But the accusation without evidence, especially as #1 in the world should be fined too indeed. I think a 1 month suspension or something would be fair and sends a strong message to other players.

What will get lost among all this due to the post game interview, is that Hans pretty easily really took care of So. There has been a lot of chat re chess ELO ratings and the closed tournaments allowing the top 10/20 players say to maintain their ratings by playing draw-ish tournaments. If you're not invited you have to play Opens, like Hans has and it's much, much harder. A game like this goes a long way to proving something needs to be done about this.
