The vocals are very unique and with the accent give their sound a refreshingly original black metal vein. Also I'm native Kiowa from Oklahoma and that star symbol is just like the ones we have on our star quilt blankets and beadwork and on a majoral of regalia worn by many different tribes throughout north America.
The first track to me sounds like an acoustic guitar but the chords sound like standard tuning but I can create the same chords on my Yamaha classical guitar

If you are talking about the instrument with some "tanginess" to it. It is the Finnish zither.
