Another trick, in rooms with lights out, the fake doors signs glow while the actual ones don't. So don't walk to the glowing number lights while in dark guys
Also, another trick, anglers and alike (A-60 and such) don't go into the fake door in case you didn't know, so if you're in a room with dope door and don't know which way to go and Angler is coming, wait for it to pass by and then go the way it headed (front versions included, just go the way it came)

Those green scanlines are actually monitor artifacts. And yes, it is one of the fastest ways to get the real door out of the fake ones. The only method that MAY be faster is sparks. (which is RNG). Never got caught since I've spotted that monitor glitching thing. Very useful thing. P.s. ridge fake doors have light below them since there is no navi-path door number plates. And there are around 3 doors after the crystal room. The one highlighted by green lights is the right one.
