I love Hotel-! As a DOORS veteran, playing the og DOORS is super cool because of how limited it was, no dupe, no dread, just 7 entities and 98 completely random rooms.

@Shawnwuzhere3 it was broken when the update first released, and would just teleport you to fake doors. now it's fixed and you can play real doors.

I really think the developers missed an opportunity when making the "giggles are everywhere" modifier. They really shoudl have called it "Dying of Laughter"

Ive been playing door 3 weeks after release and it was my first time playing a horror game and got me into that specific genee and i thank doors for introducing me to the game without a sense of a heart attack wandering any second
Same, doors was the only game that actually jumpsacred me. When I ran into dupe for he first time, it scared the shit outta me

In pre hotel+ the doors spunds are different and the vent rooms exist and mini library also there was no greenhouse and no breakers to be found also figure sucked and there was no enitiy: Void, dupe, and idk. Also there was 20 badges i think, door 99 had beds and closets there that you had to do the minigames and door 100 figure did parkour, and there was no rift
There also was lights above doors
and figure also looked like he was constantly ragdoolling
And no sub rooms and basement room was belhhhh
I remember that one small library room with a lever, the chance for window monster to show up in the window very rarely and the room with a L-shaped vent where you can hide in, thats really nostalgic for me who played since 1 month after release
Considering Ive played doors since the beginning, the hotel- modifier make me so happy, Its so nice going back to my simple world.
I love the Hotel- modifier, because back in the day it was simpler, the figure ragdoll body was still there (super funny), the goofy trash animations, and even the GLORIOUS old door 100 that i only got to see in game 4 times bc i sucked back then. honestly, i am glazing hotel- BUT I HAD GOOD MEMORIES WITH IT OKAY!?!? >:(
I tried to get 50% one in mines and I died to dam seek while trying to get to the last pump☠️😔

With the custom seed, chest rooms with either a chest, locked chest, drawer, or wardrobe, are not set with the seed and are random beyond the input seed, similar to coins. Items are in the same places, but chests are not
The basement lever room was always there, the library lever room was not reworked into the basement room rather it was just deleted altogether
As a girl, I've been playing doors since it was released, I can feel the nostalgia and I actually wanted to play again because of how cool it is, I also missed the Guiding Light messages. 2022 was nostalgic ❤

Dude it used to be SO much easier before doors+ came out. The greenhouse didn't exist, there was no dupe and you didn't have to collect the 10 fuses for the last minigame!
They should add a modifier that makes firedamp rooms kill you quicker

The small hands and baby hands modifiers makes u able to have 3 or 1 slots for items that you don’t need to beat the game (non-important items)
I Felt the nostalgia of old doors with the modifier because I joined in August 2021 ( 3 weeks after it was created )
Feels nice to hear the old doors opening sound bring back nostalgia

They should make it that if you have vitamins active and act fast enough you can juke out a Giggle’s jumpscare by moving backwards or sideways quick enough, you just go under them and they drop to the floor, failing the attack. Would be funny using maximum overdrive and completely ditching a giggle within seconds (you’d be able to dodge them if you move fast enough, but walking forward under them would get you hit anyways with just vitas.
im pretty the destiny still arrives modifier in doors makes dread spawn faster as you progress. so 60 seconds in door 2 and 20 seconds at door 90
The modifier below the Infested modifier is the Bug Problem modifier! You get it for crucifying Gloombats (the Bug Bomb achievement) and it just makes them spawn even more.

OK the Make Haste modifier is fucking evil. Backdoor is like 15 minutes tops, but imagine having to find levers in hotel which already takes 30 minutes. That sounds awful and it's only a +25%? That shit should be double (+100%) with how hard that is gonna be.
There is a bug in the haste modifier in the hotel that when theres a level on the grandfather clock it doesnt work and haste will kill you
if you use the seed "lucky" in the mines (without the ") theres a garden room thingy and other stuff

I started playing before modifiers, when the old death message was still there, before the garden revamp, and before the Backdoor & Retromode.
But I don't remember the lights above the door frame, or the old lever puzzle in a normal room, so I must've began after that was changed.

Ok, how does the modifier "Baby hands" have a +10% knobs benefit, but the modifier "Dealt it" have a +25% knobs benefit despite baby hands is way more harder.
