I had been put off making my own lure by the other videos. They're all like 25 minutes long and make it look like a really detailed and difficult process. I watched yours simply because it was 6 minutes. It was great. Simple yet effective. It has me motivated again to make my own for summer. Thanks.
Nice mate. Nothing like catching a fish on a homemade job!
Amazing nice lure! Very good made. With simple tools. Keep doing!
No fancy expensive tools, just clear some stuff by pushing it out the way and get stuck in kiwi DIY style, then test looked like it had epic action then goes and hook himself a kingy…I mean, that’s as good as it gets people! Keep it up bro that was epic💪
Amazing job I’ll be having a go - awesome 👍👍👍👍👍
Great job mate well done, cracking Aotearoa Kingfish too buddy 👌👍
Awesome Eli!
hey mate what kind of wire do u use
Stainless welding wire
Have you tried to make a piper lure?
Cool project man, anychance you could let me know where you got the wire and foil from?
Cheers

@@elisadventures1570 and the foil?
@@dickysilly417it's aluminium tape. Can get it at any hardware store.
The kingfish at the end doesn't look to be of legal length.....
strx7 that's right it probably wasn't. I let most of the fish I catch go (except the photo of the one on land) and I can assure you that small fish is swimming around happy and healthy.
@@elisadventures1570I'm talking about the very dead looking one held by the boy in the blue hoodie.
@@strx7 yea lol looks 65cm that's illegal
strx7 that’s definitely not dead lol and I always bleed kingfish I keep, notice this one has not been cut
