  • In this video, we will build a django web application that enables a user to search for a location and find same on a map. We will learn some of the fundamentals of the Django Web Framework, integrate django with the Folium Python package. We will also use another python package, Geocoder to get the latitude and longitude as well as other relevant data from a search input. If you care a complete beginner to Django or Web Design as a whole, kindly check out on the Django Inventory Management System project. The first part of video is well explained, but the last part I think isn't necessary, save the search in a model and then get the last record? the purpose is to watch how to work the map tool mainly.

This is an awesome video, clear and to the point. My question is how can I set up a specific location(agro fields for instance) with long and lat specified on the database by using geocode OSM. Thanks!

It was a great video it clear out so many doubts. Thank You so much for posting such a Django Project video. Can you teach us how to make multiple language Blog sites? There is no such video that shows how to change language dynamically on Django.
