Excellent technique speedmeister. This was such a gem of a game, and Capcom's very serious answer to streets of rage 2. I used to put plenty of quarters into this in now defunct arcades. I think it's great Capcom recently included this in their recent arcade stick package. This is also on MAME, or if you can get your hands on an original arcade cabinet. Wonderful graphics, sound, music, and even the story with a few cutscenes and some text was a better film than the one we got in 2004.
lmao you just machine-gunned the Mad Predator to death 14:29. It reminds me of that scene from Raiders of the Lost ark where Indy is about to fight the swordsman in a duel and then just calmly pulls out his gun and shoots him dead.

Iirc Harrison Ford had diarrhea and wanted to quickly go to the bathroom, so instead of going for what the director wanted which would take too long he just shot the bastard. I'm glad they kept that. And yeah, this game is really great in many aspects. And what makes it a lot fun to speedrun (as it happens to many games) is the glitches, such as the Mad Predator quick kill.

To memorize the position from where the enemies are going to spawn is a very trivial thing for many games, inclusing beat'em ups and shoot'em ups.
It's a common thing in Beat'em ups. It's a move you''re supposed to use when you are surrounded by enemies, so you knock all enemies down and have the chance to better position your character avoiding more damage. This is a move that is specially useful in Final Fight, but usually has it's place in many games in many different situations.
I run the game in an emulator and save the replay file it generates. When I get the run I want I have to run the file and make an encode so I can upload the encode to RUclips. My computer is not powerful enough to encode the file (Or I don't know how to make an encode properly) so I sent this specific file to a friend, who encoded and this was the result. I noticed it was cropped, but he couldn't get anything better and there was no important information hidden, so I decided to keep this one. I actually have a 23:21 run now, but didn't upload it yet due to the encode issue. Also, I'm still trying to get a sub 23min run, so if I can get such run I'll just upload that run instead of one for each pb I get.

I actually got a much better run than this up to last screen which could have been a 42:5x, but lost too much time and it ended up beeing a 23:30, so I did not upload the video. I usually play on Fightcade, online, so if you want a proof of my skills just challenge me for an online match. I don't have my Arcade controller due to problems with it, and the ps2 controller I'm using is giving me headaches, but I can still play pretty fine. Hope to see you around.
That's cool you play on Fightcade too! When I say "Match" I'm talking about playing cooperatively. You can challenge me and play with me or just let me play alone and watch and decide for yourself if my video is fake or not, and although I'm pretty sure I can't reproduce the same run (mostly becuase of my crappy controller and RNG beeing a bitch) you can see I'm trying the same tricks throughout the run.
