:-). I try to do product reviews and share products on Wednesday videos. Thanks for stopping in to have a look. I will be using this thermal camera this winter to check if the hives are alive.

It is the best way to see if the colonies live over the winter. The first person I saw use one was Frederick Dunn and I was amazed. Anyway, don't forget to use the discount code in the description. I think there is a 10% off code and a 15% off code. Save a little cash.

i just thought of an experiment you might try. could use that on one of your queens and then on the drones and workers and see if there is a big difference or not. if there is it might make finding the queen easier.

That's an idea. I will have to wait until it's a bit cooler outside though. It's currently 102F outside. The best use for this tool, for a beekeeper anyway, is to check colonies in the winter to look for heat signature and cluster size.
