Wrong! He goes back over his mark, stops, looks to the umpire for the obvious call, it doesn't come and so he has no option but to play on!

Basically the same situation as the game against west coast , north more accurate and have the lead too almost lose it against west coast in a comeback , an iffy call blamed on the the umps , but west coasts fault for not kicking straight from the beginning .
Collingwood had the lead after a comeback , then a crap call goes collingwoods way , but again north blew their lead and can’t blame the umps .
What gets me is how the media make out west coast are shit cause they lose too north but Collingwood are marvellous for winning by a point , maybe north are actually getting better under Clarko and have players back like Simpkin and all the nuffie journalists have got it wrong

Pies need to look at their slow starts. They often look slow in the opening frenetic minutes of games and then come good once the game slows to its natural rhythm. Which is odd for a team that is at its best when there is speed in the game.

Only at the 40 second mark 4:33 did the umpire call that a mark, by that stage both Collingwood players had continued to move forward because it was still play on. Not a 50 penalty, the umpire needs to pull them back to the mark but he does nothing except then call play on when Scott plays on. Hysteria for nothing, pies too good, we win, everyone can suck eggs.

For some Collingwood fans thinking this is a good sign is little crazy to me, I must be the only person who kind of thinks their list build is heading for a steep cliff, they won't beat the Hawks if they play like that let alone the Swans. Big big mistake letting go of Ginnivan and to Hawthorn primarily, boyhood fan of the club and he's becoming a star 🌟. Any other club would've not had that impact with him imo and I wouldn't trade him for the world, wanted him in 2021 and he's fan favourite wearing Cyrils Jumper.

The Hawks were losing games the last two years with their young players, however Collingwood's young players are filling in for experienced players and getting the job done. Their development and the coach's game plan are stacking up. This in turn creates depth in our team. Yes, let's see what we do at full strength and good luck keeping up with us.

Typical whingeing comment by an opposing team supporter, it’s so predictable, lazy & ignorant. Throughout the game some umpiring decisions went against both sides.
North lost because they ran out steam & were out-coached. Any team that gives up a 54 point lead wasn’t good enough, simple.
