Great stuff!!! Really like the front fender flares. Love the outside the box ideas…personally don’t care for the full orange wheels so I’m going to powder coat them a graphite color just leaving the outer ring orange…then going to upgrade to 32” tires…haven’t settled on which tires yet. Love what your pops has done!!
I love the videos, and the upgrades. I just purchased a 2022 XTP, love the commanders. I started with a 2013 commander 1000 limited which I still have, but it’s up for sale, I might end up keeping it for the kids. Your videos have helped me along with being a Commander fan help me with my decisions to purchase the XTP over other machines. I believe it was episode four when you swapped the rims and tires. I’m looking at putting 33’s on my XTP. Do I need to swap the rims or would they fit on the stock rims. If I do swap will the XTP fit on the 2013 Commander with 2” wheel spacers.
Just need your dad to fab up protection for the box sides so they don’t rip off when you rub on a tree 🌲 I have plastic welded both sides of mine already
I would be interested later in hearing about what second battery setup you use, I have the exact same rig and raised the seats 3” with steel channel and thought the best spot would be next to the existing battery. Not sure what products to buy to compliment and use a second battery system.
Did he get any pics of the rear fender flares before he removed them. Just curious. I ordered the entire set for my XT but if I don’t like the rears in his pic I may not bother installing them
@@aarongarner1908 it’s basically small countersunk screws. There’s a video coming up where I go over more details about the build, this topic will be mentioned
that rear winch .. is that a custom set up? or was it a mount that was bought then attached? I would love to know more about that set as I would like to do something like that to my 21 XTP. would have came in handy a couple of times now.
@@FoXracer5090 nope all design and fabrication was done for the most part on site by my dad. He subbed out the linex and any laser cut pieces. My dad is hands down the best metal fabricator I’ve ever seen in my life. I’d put his work up against the best in the world.
The short answer is yes, the tires will be changed out for ones where the lugs are a little farther apart. He’s thinking about either XTR 370s, tusk Terrabite or K9 Supergrip
Hi I also have a commander xtp. Is there any way you could ask your dad what size light bar he installed on top? The 42" light bar just wont fit right. Any help is appreicated thanks
Do you guys know or have you heard of anyone building a bed rack system other than the brp rack? Razorback isn’t building one yet and I really don’t like brp rack
GREAT job of building your Commander up to where you like it! Thanks for sharing this information!

Your dad is a man with an eye for details! He can work on my wheels anytime lol
so cool to have your dad sharing the same hobbies with you.
If it wasn’t for him I never would have gotten into off road, I wish we rode more together last year but he was waiting for his new rig
Dad has it going on. I’d pretty much have the same options. Looks great!
Doesn’t he? Haha it’s an awesome build so far

Thanks for showing the add ons. Where did he get the stainless steel for the bottoms of the sliders?
Fabricated it himself
@@CommanderOutdoors very cool! That's a lot of cutting!

When the second battery is installed I will make a short video about it

@@CommanderOutdoors. Can’t wait for the aux battery video. How about a little preview lol. Like where you putting it ?

Information on the tree kickers and diamond plate. ... was the diamond plate custom?
Yes the diamond plate is custom everywhere
@@CommanderOutdoors how was it stuck on?

Did make the rear winch mount or purchase it? I think having both is a must have if you ride alone......
He built the mount himself

Talk ABOOT a great machine! :)

Hasn’t mounted yet or I would have shown

I’ll see him again in a few days, I’ll try to remember to ask.
Send me an email to remind me

@@CommanderOutdoors Thank you sir!
Where did you get the over head switch pod with led dome lights?
Overhead panel is a BRP accessory the dome lights are a custom job
Any chance of getting the paint color code and name of the paint for the snorkel?
My dad has it out at his place, send me an email if you don’t mind and I’ll forward it to you

Where did pops get the 3rd brake light from ?
3rd Brakelight is straight from BRP
What flag mount brackets are those ?
I believe they are either KC or Tusk

No I have yet to hear of anyone. Razorback is what I would have suggested if you hadn’t mentioned they aren’t making one yet
@@CommanderOutdoors thank you for the reply…it’s frustrating because the brp rack really isn’t very good but at this point looks to be the only option
Is the overhead console switch panel can am?
Yes
Looking good. But don't put too much more stuff on or people will think you're from Quebec lol...
