@@RufinoRides I test drove the 550i today and decided that's got to be the one. V8 is a dying breed, turbo 6's will be around a lot longer I think this is the right move. The sounds this V8 makes and the way is slaps you to the back of your seat are an ear to ear smile setter.

@@RufinoRides Highly suggest the G20 330i. For an enthusiast like myself, id consider it perhaps the best car for the money all things considered (quality, driving feel, power, creature comforts, curb appeal, etc). You can scoop one up for maddd cheap on the used market too. I got mine for 32.5k but Ive seen some as low as 21k for high miles, non-m sport and mid spec interior. I had a very specific spec in mind for my car and I happened to find the perfect one that suited my wants and needs.
Does it truly feel fast though? My only con for it is the 4cyl

one thing i've noticed is that my m850i has the M-stitched colours on the steering wheel, but they don't do it for m550i. x m50i, I think m850i is so close to being exotic levels they add some different touches to the cabin

As if the 523 horses were not enough already 😆 I have a M550 and really do not want to let the whole word know that I can beat 99 percent of all the cars on the street. Regularly I put souped up Nissans or whatever into their place.

Sounds sick. Resonator and downpipe is too much tho even tho you can open and close valves. I think I’m gonna do a resonator delete only. My cts intakes come in this week 😅

After 2 months of only the rear res delete I’m about to get a downpipe. Once you turn off the active sound design(fake engine sound in cabin) you realize the car is awfully quiet

Yes, you cant hear anything in eco but in comfort when shifting at high rpm’s it can be a little loud

Does the exhaust stink with catless downpipes? The last car I had with catless downpipes was my Nissan GTR and it stunk on 93. It smelled clean on E85. Not sure I want to go E85 in my M550i.
You can smell it when your windows are up, but you get a small whiff when the windows are down. Nothing too crazy

Not going to lie this sounds really rough.
The engine you can barely hear because the only sound coming out the exhaust is overblown burbles. The few sounds of engine you do hear is akin to a big old mac truck.
