she your daughter?
Dion had no shortage of women chasing him back in the day (He was the classic handsome iIalian boy with Bronx charm and swagger-The guy got mobbed after every show, So he wrote this number 1 song as a personal joke to himself and his wife, Rosie.
Dion didn’t write this song. A pool hall buddy, Ernie Maresca wrote it. It was about a guy from their neighborhood in the Bronx. Everytime he would date a girl he’d get her name tattooed on his body, when he would break it off with her he’d have her name covered up. Dion’s wife is named Susan, not Rosie.
Dion is always a lot of fun!!!🎶
My neighbor who's 86 was one of his backing vocals for abt a year. Great guy..occasionally puts on show himself. He's also my golf partner
Another CLASSIC from him is Runaround Sue. Fun song!
Thank you !
NOW you need to react to Dion's "RUNAROUND SUE" !!! "The Wanderer" could be considered the "answer" or "follow up" to "Runaround Sue
This song is from 1961, and I was a little 3 year old boy. Great memories.
I was 14 then
Early rock n roll, so fun. Go Dion and American Bandstand
One of the greatest songs from the early 1960s. Suggestion a great cover version
of this song "Status Quo - The Wanderer".👍
Great reaction I grew up on this song anyone 55 plus knows it
Always loved that driving beat! One of the big hits of its time and I love it still.
New to your channel, great content.Solidarity from Southampton England 🏴
He's over 80 now and has been married to the same woman for 60 years
Deadest crowd ever lol. Great song and the background were killing it
You have to remember the era it's in.
This isn't Soul Train, lots of audiences back then were instructed to be quiet and keep still.
This is an audience of ADULTS not teenagers. It's in a "club" setting where you had to be 21 to get into it. Most adults then didn't care for rock and roll. I KNOW because I was 14 in 1961 when this song was a hit.
just watch how focused on him the ladies are on him.
How about one more oldie?!....Duke of Earl by Gene Chandler please!!!💞✌️
Runaround Sue turned him into The Wanderer.
The strangest thing is that no one in that crowd moved their feet to the song.
Reminds me of driving around in my moms car
His song called Shu Bop is cute
nice
You guys seem fammiliar, did you guys ever do a video on some songs by marty robbins?
yall should do a reaction to a Charlie Daniels song. Songs I recommend are The Legend Of Wooley Swamp, Was It 26(Chris Stapleton covered this song), Simple Man, or of course The Devil Went Down to Georgia!
THIS SONG WAS LATER ON COVERED BY COUNTRY SINGER " EDDIE RABBIT " PLEASE REACT TO HIS COVER OF IT!
The audience 🤨😴😂
The guys are all smiling and nodding, the girls not so much......
Reminds me of …
Can i request
How do all those stiffs in the audience keep from jumping outta their seats and really "cut the rug"??!!
