Im trying to get a degree in communication- public affairs. Ive 1 term at SNHU but im trying to learn how to use the hacks you recomend to get it done asap since i work full time and will be in military soon. Which college would you recomend for hacking a communication - pr degree? Im inclined to snhu since ive used them before
When we transfer credits from sophia/SDC is it mentioned on the final degree? How does the degree paper of snhu look like? Does transferring credits give a bad impression?
Your official transcript from SNHU will be divided into sections by source of credit, so you’ll have an institution called “ACE” which is Sophia/Study. But the actual paper degree from SNHU doesn’t change and doesn’t say online or anything. No one can say for sure that if someone saw your transcripts with ACE classes on them that they wouldn’t have thoughts or feelings about that. But the population of people who would even know what they are looking at is extremely small :) I wouldn’t base any decisions on the possibility it could make someone upset. We have hundreds of happy graduates and so far zero stories of hacking causing any problems. That’s not to say it doesn’t or couldn’t, but I believe we’d be hearing about it a lot more by now if it was something to worry about.
Thinking about getting a psychology degree. I already have 60 credits from traditional college (I took a break during the pandemic) but I want to go back. I eventually want to use it to get into a master’s program. Will a college be unwilling to except an online degree? Also, how would I know if I took the prerequisites for lets say a Master in Social Work? Or do colleges just accept you if you have a bachelor’s? Thanks! These videos are awesome, I really want this to be true. It seems like a dream, to think I could graduate fast
I have been thinking of going to college, but I’ll need to get my ged. I’m afraid if I get my ged umpi or the college I apply to won’t accept me, because they require a gpa. Am I overthinking?
Thankfully, yes :) You are overthinking. In the US, a GED is equivalent to a high school diploma. If you’re nervous, just call the schools and confirm they’ll accept a GED. You got this!!
I am currently enrolled in SNHU, is it too late to transfer credit ? Basically asking if I can take courses through Straighterline while simultaneously taking classes at SNHU and apply the credit to my current courses.
Dr. Clifford, can you do a review on Penn State World Campus? It seems they allow transfer of up to 84/120 credits and ACE credits are accepted. Just wanted to hear your opinion on how hackable it would be leveraging SDC and Sophia.
I currently lost my job and am recently in brazil due to family health issues before that I was doing Sophia and got a little over 30 credits. I return to the United States in September and I am planning to get more Sophia credits in August. I am a green card holder I am also currently studying for the CAPM- certified associate project management certification. I was considering umpi but I really just wanna to go for the school I can finish quicker. I saw a comment regarding the chipotle degree and it triggered me to think it would be faster. Pls I would appreciate a response on what to decide. I was thinking on doing the business project management with umpi.
Liberal Studies is a good direction for getting done fast. You just need to ask yourself if that major will open the doors you need opened. For many people it will, but it takes some research to know if it will work for your goals!
It might be in other countries, but the average cost of a degree in the US without hacking is $45,000. So $9,000 looks pretty good next to that. School will always be an investment.
i finished 3 years of SNHU in 45 days with sophia
Nice!!
What SHNU program was it?

What happens if you start all 10 classes on Straighterline, but don’t complete them in 2 months?
3 month of Sophia saved me 2+ years of SNHU.
🥳🥳
Do you have a video for this on what Sophia classes to take opposed to Straighterline for SNHU?
Not yet!

If you’re already at SNHU you could just do that :) They’re pretty hackable with Sophia/Study, the equivalencies are on the SNHU website!

Schools all share their admissions requirements online, so you can plan what you need in advance :)

Yes you can! Talk to your advisor about the logistics :)

Hackable, but there are other cheaper options if all other factors are equal :)

Does SNHU still accept Sophia?
Indeed
Are there some options for Brazillian people?
Definitely!
My dear I trust your information but getting credit is not the only solution they still ask for $ 9K for the rest 30 credits which is very expensive.

I thought they stopped taking ace credits?
Nope
