Kerry, you are on the money with this one. I am sick of dealing with over seas call centers staffed by bad attitudes. Long wait times, connections that sound like two tin cans and a string, and hard to understand employees is not customer service.

Oh by the way, Hyundai has integrated the company's voice recognition system in some of its vehicles, offering drivers the ability to ask their cars about the weather, sports, or even how their favorite stock is doing. And just recently, SoundHound said it would go live in 100 White Castle drive-thru lanes by the end of the year.

Did some due diligence looks like soun has a 661 million dollars backlog and are estimated to report may 9 th I believe-0.08 cents a share down the line if they can have a profit in a couple of years it’s off to the races. Soundhound everywhere smart devices restaurants and automobile if they do that tam will be huge.

What's you take on tomorrow's earnings
How is the balance sheet on this company? Do they have enough cashflow to survive the years of losses. I put money into Wejo whom had similar concept on cars but they wen bankrupt, so did Proterra. Again the Idea was great for both Wejo and Proterra, but they underestimated the value of cash and cashflow to survive and grow as a start-up.
They're burning cash at a decreasing..($38.8 in 2022/ $13.7 in 2023) rate while their revenues are growing at 50% YOY.

Yes they have but AI is relatively new and their involvement with Nvidia breathes new life into them... it's a moonshot.
TSLA is inarguably the largest EV maker in the US, so they entered into an agreement with TSLA.

We have replicated their technology on a stringshoe budget of a 100K, more or less. And I doubt we are the only ones. So there is no technological moat here. Obviously they have the first mover advantage but all we needed to replicate what they do is open source and available to basically anyone. all the new startups competing for price will drive down the profitability in the next year or so. And they seem to have burned through a lot of cash already so I am not so sure about the stock long term. But I really do like the rest of the channel and all the investment advice.
Alex, you say we have replicated the technology. Who is we? Who do you work for, or who are you working with that has replicated what SoundHound has done. Please share that with me I need to know more about this.
@@BestofUsInvestors me and my company. We do mostly outsourcing but this is an internal project of ours that we did in between others. I was doing research on the competition for putting together a pitch deck for potential investors when I stumbled upon your channel. Really great work that you do here btw, it is one of the better investment channels I've seen, real advice from a real investor.
But back to the voice AI tech. Basically you have several AIs working in tandem. You need a voice2text software, a LLM to understand what is spoken, optionally some specialized AI agents to pull info from databases (like for instance lists of products and prices) to reduce hallucinations and then another software for text to voice.
All bits of software have been around for years except for the LLM which we cracked last year. GPT4 is too big and slow but you can use open source solutions like Mixtral or Llama which are smaller and faster and you dont need a 100 Million dollar datacenter to run. You can use even a regular gaming PC to run them although for production you may want something a bit bigger.
We have a working version for English and now we are working on Romanian. It takes about a couple of weeks per language to adapt. And a couple of weeks more to set up for a specific client.
Whitepaper?! Whenever I hear that word I think promises of future revenue and cashflow with very little existing revenue and cashflow. Sets off alarm bells to me and i hope it does to everyone else too. If you want to invest in something like this, wait for them to start to prove themselves first, theirs still heaps of time.

I can't argue with that. I thought genome sequencing in genome editing would be the save all stocks of the future. But I did not factor in the FDA and their passion to make sure that no unintended consequences are in genome sequencing in genome editing. I've moved on I hope you do the same.
