Scott Marvel cackling at the drops is all of us
Lol can confirm. Him and Maria cracking up over pee pee poo poo jokes was everything
I saw Maria live once and the end of her set was her laying down on her back next to giant pugs on stage mouth-farting at the audience rofl
You could say Scott Marvel has been inside all of us (and I think I'm saying that correctly)!
@@BeanieKing I'm happy the show exposed me to some new art to check out. He's very talented
“I think the human experience is past its prime” - Maria Bamford
THIS is why i search "Maria Bamford podcast" like every other day
lmao
Glad you could drop in
Same. Could do without this host, tbh😅 Not a good mesh.
Tim and Maria compliment eachother so well. So many laughs.
Podcasts are nothing without Maria Bamford!
I'm a bag of bones and a hank of hair. Do you wanna carry this over the finish line? She's amazing.
This comment has RM brown vibes
@@tree4318 aroon brown? Never heard of him
@@alistercaddy1208 He's a professional crystal flute player
Maria's old, midwestern housewife voice will never cease to be funny.
Maria’s perspective on all topics from existential doom to mental health to pop culture is not only so relatable but hilarious and insightful at the same time. She’s like a comedic therapist
The rambling non-sequiturs of Amy Sleeverson (Maria Bamford’s character in the incredible podcast Bonanas for Bonanza with Andy Daly and Matt Gourley) really brightened some of my darkest days during the pandemic. You could hear the empathy of the person even in that crazy shit. Forever grateful !
i just adore Maria
This episode was done skillfully.
You were done skillfully
Maria and Scott were amazing guests. She is beyond witty. And Vic was absolutely on fire with the drops! So funny... Perfect 'sode
The Jeffrey Lewis shirt is so unexpectedly based
Jeffrey needs to be a guest on the show ASAP!!
Oh cool I saw the shirt but didn't register what it was, Jeffrey Lewis is great
well that was more fun than usual.
Vic's laugh is so good
Need Will Forte + Maria Bamford in ANYTHING directed by TIm
I read Maria's "Sure I'll Join Your Cult" recently and saw her in concert last year. She is me and my husband's absolute favorite comedian! To have her and her hubby on The Office Hours is an EPIC good time.
I'll never get over Maria Bamford's inexplicable humility (matched with very deserved pride and self assuredness). I understand that contextually her work is uniquely personal, but that is a merit, she's frankly right that people not getting her work is on them, but it's also, just fucking stupid. Bamford's a genius. Among the best to have ever done it, and far better than the majority of standups today.
What a great episode.
Bravo!
we love you maria ❤
5:25
I love seeing Maria share this laughter with her husband. Especially with how she looks over to him as he cracks up after the "smells good" drop. #couplegoals
Loved this episode, been excited since Thursday to sit down and watch this one. Maria’s book was a great read and I think her energy pairs really well with Tim’s, leading to what might be one of my favorite episode in a long time.
The energy in this episode is immaculate! 👏🌱✨
So so great to see and hear Maria B.❤
She is truly such a gem of a comedian, especially for folks in the neurodivergent community. And the Jeff Lewis plug!!!
Much love ya’ll. Great Job 🙌
Shoutout to Ah-lee-cee-yah
I love the band The Zombies and have seen them multiple times. I always wondered if I would see them play live and then I did a couple times recently and it was very fulfilling. Thank you Tim hardiker thank you big burger I very much appreciate this show and I'm sorry for the way that Google spelled your names.
I love Maria so much!
Sad I didn't get to call in today and ask her about the Special Special Special Special. 🤷🏼♂️
She's a national treasure. That special rules
21:00 is quite a profound comment from Maria. What could be a more ambitious, collaborative creative project than a family?
🙏💗
Two families?
I'm trying to figure out a way to write this was fun episode that doesn't sound weird, but whatever you get it.
Great episode
Good convos, nice
The dog slowly getting creeped out by the doll was so funny
Bellissimo!
One of the best out there 🎉 love love
This was so joyous
Thanks for not being a coward Tim. Expressions of solidarity with the oppressed, and calling out the oppressors, is good.
Maria is such a legend. Can't wait to see her this weekend in Tampa
Hey Doug, great to see you're having fun down south
But that's not an owl; it's a tawny frogmouth
Tawny frogmouth sounds like an old English insult
I just did one of those laughs where it sounds like you're wheezing so bad that you must asphyxiated@@AltusNoumena
THE GREAT MARIA!!!!
With you on The Beatles, Maria! (For the most part)
Maria is wrong about 4 things and they're all Beatles!
the jeffrey lewis shirt!!
Bamford rules.......ok?
Understand that?
big fan, not a creep ok.
Where the fuck is Phil?
Haha ❤ this so much
Maria Bamford rules. Also, great glasses!
I love you, Cymthia Drangus. Delightful AND bubbly. It’s not an Easter basket.
i love maria so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Another all-timer!
Maria and Tim are my DREEEEEEEAAAAAAMMMMMM TEEEEEEAAAAAMMM
Fucking fantastic
Xing Xing is the best, glad she got a shout-out
Bamford is the GOAT
Omg i did not know that about Prince 😳
I watch Dr. Pimple Popper because finally there's a show where "someone is getting health care".
what's that martin guitar near vic?
Despite the (totally understandable) absence, Doug outdid himself here!
Rubber Soul 🏆
I legit want whiskers but to useful like over 2ft. BAMFORD > beatles.
Tim, you’re hot. Who knew?
Dude sounds just like Casey Kasem right???
Rosie did NOT like that doll!
Tiff Swift what a good idea… It’s good stuff yes Tiff Swift is nice. 33:39
Honestly the most adorably charming thing Scott could have done was forget Taylor Swift's name.
someone search smile guy's hard drives. certainly sus things afoot.
*Pterodactyl sounds*
she is so funny without trying.. also love how mad Tim gets when the zoomers chew gum hahah.. where's Phil?
this is the bees knees. no cap!
Duluth's funniest Bamford
Shane did SNL cuz there wasn't ever any bitterness. Also I don't think a dude who constantly jokes about his teenis is the classic alpha 😂 Matt and Shane are pure gold
With the Beatles, it's all about the lesser- known. Rocky Raccoon .. Honey Pie.. I'm so tired.. what other rock band has a whole song about being tired??😆 also-- their oldest stuff , like on the BBC sessions, is total infant punk. "Slow Down" , "A Shot of Rhythm and Blues".. WAAAYYY better than the bible.. 🤘🤘🤘and I really love how they covered "girl group" songs like Mr. Postman , and honored their black influences like Chuck Berry and Little Richard. Simple can be great.
Tiffany Swift
Third!
Ahleeceesheeya did a great job
This show is way better than Tim Pool's boring hate show
What about Georgie Best? He dont get a movie?
I went to high school with a girl called Tiffany Swift. Wareham High class of 1994.
the "smile" guy turned this into a really depressing conversation
did anyone else see vic's dog's balls? like what is going on down there?
She’s female 😮
@@OfficeHoursLive AGHHH sorry Ms. vic's dog!
Doctors dirty neckties used to spread infections like bees pollinating flowers.
Thanks for dressing up.
"Taylor Swift started it by herself"
With hundreds of thousands of dollars from her parents
With help from her dad who had some involvement with recording studios
"Self-made billionaire" has always been a myth and will always be a myth.
tim being a gatekeeper of comedy again. i don't think shane needs your advice, you get 10k views on your show whereas their show has 100k patrons
I don’t think Shane needs you washing his balls.
@@OfficeHoursLive he doesn't but you know I would ✌️
dawg dawg dawg
Thanks Tim, your political opinions are still not good!
ehh lay an egg
Boo, go whine somewhere else. Get back to FOX news, dork.
He’s like bill Maher just bringing up bummer things the guest doesn’t wanna talk about lol
@domakesaythink00 you're confused he's nothing like Bill Maher, they're very much opposites. Ones pretty left, one is an edgelord, immature, conservative manchild.
@@kab9706I mean in the sense of incessantly bringing up their politics when people don’t want to hear it.
Great episode
