My gain settings depend on the amp model, but generally I start with as much gain as possible that the amp is still tight and not harsh. I would like to do that, but I don't own the Helix :-(. I'd recommend to start with the attack rather fast (5-10 ms) and then just raise the threshhold until the floor noise disappears. Then raise it a little bit more (maybe 5-10 db) and try out, if your legato playing is still working.

Could you please also make a Noise Gate setting for Line6 Helix aswell?
