George Lazenby - as dashing and debonair as ever. Smart, articulate and a good sense of humour. The best James Bond of all.

Apparently he was blacklisted in Hollywood for not signing to do 6 more Bond films so couldn't find work. Cool of Bruce to take care of him in HK.

He could have done seven Bond movie's by this stage, he would have been perfect, he's 54 in this and looks great, just imagine him in The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker

What you say about George Lazenby is true. He’s my favourite Bond but, however much his career suffered, I’m rather glad he wasn’t mired in the muck that came immediately after his film - three consecutive films “directed” by Guy Hamilton. And “Moonraker,” forget it!

@@nicholasjanke3476 True. And Lazenby earned more money doing Kung-fu films in Hong Kong, than he did as James Bond! Whatever residence he had over there, by itself, would have gone for a hefty profit. I’m glad he lives comfortably, without relying solely on acting for an income. (The hatchet job Cubby Broccoli did on him had a lasting effect.) I just hope he didn’t lose too much cash to Pam Shriver!

Thanks so much for uploading. I am the biggest fan of Mr Bruce Lee (李小龙) and I happen to have been born on the same day and month (but not year) as him and this interview of Bruce Lee is the nicest birthday gift to me! I never seen it before and think I watched all other Bruce Lee interviews
    My greatest Bruce Lee quote:
"I am not here to live up to your expectation and you aren't here to live up to mine".... Absolute legend!

It's a shame his movie career faded after that Bond film. There's different versions why he didn't come back as Bond. Diana Rigg says that Lazenby was so difficult to work with that he was never asked back. Lazenby himself says that he got bad advice telling him he should give up Bond. Interestingly Sean Connery was his biggest supporter!

In another world George would have been in Enter The Dragon with Bruce. In 1993 when this interview was shot, George could have still been doing Bond, he still looked great.

I respect Roger Moore, but his Bond just doesnt work for me, I dont know if its his acting or overall ridiculousness of his Bond era. Lazenby should've helmed 70's Bond, he was a much better Bond in my opinion.
