I love how speedrunners choose to run in the classic graphics and only switch in order to do exploits ❤
The devs were saying when you go out of bounds the game auto switches to the newer graphics.

@billythedreamer No, he's incorrect. The graphics do not automatically switch when doing exploits. Speedeunners switch to new graphics so they can see out of bounds. When using old graphics you can't see much at all when out of bounds.

Imagine from the covenant viewpoint seeing this absolute monster of a green giant carving his way through your unit, killing friend and foe alike with god like prescience, using a sniper rifle like a shotgun and not even bothering to kill you in its relentless pursuit forwards.
It took me longer than this to beat the first level on the ring

Not really. Nearly a 2 year old strat at this point. The cryo bump itself is ancient, it just doesn't save time on its own.

Why does he kill the Allie marines on purpose throughout the run? 2nd level specifically at 5:35 and after.
If they all die you don't need to wait for them to get into the Evac ship and they aggro enemies if they're on a vehicle.

So a complete novice when it comes to speed running halo lol. But I was curious why does he always kill the marines, do they slow you down/mess up where enemies spawn or what?
Many times they have dialogue that slows down the mission so killing them skips that dialogue

Noone at the top level plays on console. But console MCC is the same as PC anyway so it wouldn't matter. If you're talking about OG xbox, well yeah thats different, but also noone unironically does runs on it.
@@cambid3229 Thanks for the response! I started playing through the whole game on easy recently, do it in just under 3hrs. But that's walking through every part of every level. Plus the loading screens, x360 won't let me install game, have to run it off disc. I was blown away when I saw 1hr on Legendary! I can't unsee some of those grenade boosted jumps! Thanks again, really enjoyed the video!
What about a walk-through? Explain what you are doing and why. That would be useful.
When I was around 8 or 9, I would play halo ce missions on easy. When I got home, and completed homework, I would cook popcorn, and play halo ce, any mission, either in order, or random. I would stay up late nights, like around 11pm to 3am, I would do challenges, like meele only, or no kill, sometimes stealth, in campaign missions, and would sometimes play multiplayer, this was 2014/2016, I had halo ce, halo2, and halo3, halo ce is at the time, my favorite, now when i was about 11 or 12, i would play halo 3 and halo reach (I hated halo4), me and my old friends would play 4 player co op, on campaigns, and around 2019, i went to hell, and got arrested and spent 3 months in a cell, at 12 years old, that was the last time I played halo multiplayer, I lost my account, (my old firends thought i could be dead, or got banned, idk) but I moved on, and played fortnite, or rec room, on my ps4.
