"the broth tasted very.... healthy" instantly i thought "oh - bland" 😂 But wow that Nobu room service meal- just the pure satisfaction on your face says it all.
You do the best job at showcasing food, especially buffets! It’s nice to see people actually eating each item and giving a review, not just an overview of the food choices and calling it a review. Now it’s past dinner and I’m thinking about cooking my frozen shrimp in the freezer wtf
I went to Wynn buffet 2019 new year, exactly 2 years ago. It was and still is the worst buffet for its $50+ cost in terms of flavor on almost every dish.
Chinese section and Sushi section is worse than my local $15 lunch buffet, period. It might fool lot of western people, but I think every single asain who went there knows what I'm talking about. I made myself a fool in front of my family that day at Wynn, everyone was unhappy about the flavor after waiting 2 hours in line.
They offer good seafood and dessert, but can't afford to hire a basic tier Chinese cook and Sushi maker. I'm still confused till this day, are they intentionally driving asian customers away?
I had to laugh at the buffet where you got two dishes of bone marrow, then went back and loaded three more onto your plate! I was roasting beef bones for homemade French Onion Soup, and decided to try one when getting them out of the oven. I'd read that it was really wonderful but hadn't ever tasted it before. Made a nice piece of hot buttered whole wheat toast to accompany, and dug in. OH MY GOD. SOOO GOOD! Had another serving. I had to force myself to stop, else there would have been none for the soup! The soup was excellent, by the way...

The Nobu food looked epic! Anyone else remember way back when Mike wouldn’t eat any raw fish? So pleased you’re a convert now!
FYI.... Traditionally, most Chinese do not eat raw fish. Was never on the cultural menu. It is only somewhat recently that many (younger) Chinese have started to eat raw seafood dishes. Most non-Asians find this strange, considering the extreme things that they culturally eat.
@@machan545 so, the same as most cultures then? I’m British and raw fish definitely isn’t part of our culinary history. It’s the Japanese who introduced all of us to raw fish and now we love it!
@@PipsNails I mentioned this because most people just assumed all Asians had always culturally ate raw seafood. And that it was not unusual back then, that Mikey did not. Sushi and Sashimi , is so common now, I don't even consider it as a foreign food anymore. Lol 😅

I’ve lived in Vegas my whole life and trust me, it hurt when the buffets closed down. Most of them are still closed down and probably won’t open back up :(

i've tried a LV buffet only once in my life, but have gone to LV several times already. My dad thinks it is a waste of money since he is getting older and can't eat that much anymore. I can't wait to go by myself and enjoy all the buffets. Mikey is definitely helping me satisfy the cravings. Thank you Mikey!

I got to go to the Wynn Buffet on Thanksgiving. I had pre-paid for my reservation...I am glad I did. The wait for walk-ins was crazy. The Wynn was my favorite out of the other "Big" hotel buffets Bachannal, Wicked Spoon and the Bellagio. They were all pretty great though.
ok then they WERE open and I live here! Covid shut it down for so long I bothered not to look, but yea, I really like the Bacchanal , my fave- enjoy and WYNN ( LOL )

When theres two tortillas with your tacos, you're suposed to only pickup one, so everything that falls out falls on the other tortilla and you end up with an extra taco!
Never seen anyone eat street tacos that way. Not to mention there is no protection from a shell break.

Mike if you go to try Nobu again, you have to try the Crispy rice with Spicy tuna and the Yellowtail Jalapeño. Both classics and both are must trys!
Missed the vegas videos! Every buffet I went to was because of your honest review! I hope one day they bring back the sterling brunch buffet. Even if it was 200 dollars it would still be worth it. Unlimited king crab, lobster tail, filet minion and endless champagne 😩

When I go to the buffet, I go to the pricey proteins first and I avoid carbs as much as possible except for exotic ones. Mikey is the exception… seems to eat a lot more even after eating the carbs… probably extraordinary metabolism & extensive workout regimen.

In most states, hotels are required to provide a free refrigerator on request. This is because diabetics need to keep insulin refrigerated. Of course Nevada might not have that law...

at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.
That red velvet cake with the penguin on top is TOTALLY from Nothing Bundt Cake, they're delicious!

for the wifi situation you could potentially get a wifi router that would connect to the wifi (shows as one device) and broadcasts its own wifi network, so you would then connect your phone/laptop/console to the router and the hotel wifi only sees a single connection/mac address. although they might be able to detect it, you might not see any issues unless you are hogging bandwidth and slowing down the connection for others.
A little part of my soul died when Mike slurped up ramen with a fork.
