wow this would be impossible for me! I don't know how many books I've finished in the last year, but I've probably gotten about 20% into 20 books. (That's equivalent to like 4 books...right? sure lets go with that.) I have a lot of trouble finishing books... I don't think of reading audiobooks in the same way, but the number's a little higher if you count those. My favorite place to read is on my back patio if i'm "reading with my eyes", and on a walk if i'm "reading with my ears". and my favorite sci fi book is Ender's game too!!!! (although maybe it's actually ender's shadow? I love bean)
I've never counted until this year...I have these so far: James Herbert The Spear Peter Benchley Jaws P.D. Sherrard The Longest Spring James Herbert Sepulchre Stephen King The Shining James Herbert Haunted Charlie Henderson Marine Sniper Charlie Henderson Silent Warrior Adam Makos Spearhead And two I'm currently reading - The Ghosts of Sleath, James Herbert and Brothers in Arms by James Holland. As for favourite Sci-fi? Has to be The Hades Factor by Robert Ludlum
In 2022, I slacked A TON and read only 2 books and they were the first two books in the Legacy of the Force series Then in 2023, I read 27 (well, some weren't on goodreads, so I think it was 29) which really helped make me realize that "Hey, I can read quite a lot in a year" Now, my goal is 50 books that year and I've only read 18 so far, but I've had fun while doing it so that's a win in my book :D (Plus, I'm reading thicker books a lot more as well)
