Thank you for sharing this info. I've noticed a trend moving towards paperless wedding invitations. I like the ability to offer paperless options to my clients. I also have invitations that feature qr codes...which is a nice option. It still cuts down on paper and your guests will still have something tangible that won't get lost in an email.
I think for mine, I’m going to do EVITES for people who understand technology, but then to those elderly family members, I’m going to send them RSVP cards that they can mail back!
How is it tacky? Using the Internet to communicate isn’t a new idea. People throw invites away and take forever to send back RVSP. So what’s the point? Most people are focused on the wedding
Exactly I agree we’re sending evites because it’s easier we get RSVPs back quicker and the app we’re using sends reminders a week in advanced. Also, a goal of mines was to have little to no waste. I hate waste and folks trash things all the time like invitations.
@Housewarmin omg I completely agree! just the thought of guest possibly throwing the paper invitation as soon as they know the info. is just a waste of money. With a website, they can just access it via their phone anytime/any minute

Sounds like a great plan!
This helped me so much thank you!
I find e-invites tacky. It’s too informal for a wedding. Might work if it’s the most low key wedding at all. It’s one step above a verbal invite.
