Detectives are investigating several home burglaries during the Labor Day weekend in Coral Gables, South Miami, Pinecrest, and other Miami-Dade County neighborhoods.
The more people you tell the more people know you'll be out. But thieves will also drive around and look for people packing bags into a car or look to see if a house has no cars near it. They'll usually send somebody to knock on the door and see if somebody answers or if there's a dog. Sometimes the owner themselves gives away the information on social media as somebody has already said. How do the thieves get the social media of the victim? Some people literally post their IG on their car with a sticker. A thief can see that on their car while it's parked in the driveway, following them on IG, and know when they're out of town. Overall, it's best to not tell people when you'll be out of town and best not to advertise methods people can use to stalk you
A lot of the cleaning ladies are also into these crimes, they know the schedules what people have, etc... Also, like others said, social media, all these Miami people LOVE to post on social media about everything little thing ever!!

When people install cheap systems with cheap companies, companies that sell you very cheap packages just to get a monthly/yearly fee, you then get a very non reliable company to monitor your home. It's a false sense of security. Plenty of times, even when they have the money to pay, homeowners refuse to pay more for equipment & service with better companies. Something that owners fail to consider is adding a cell backup, which tells the alarm company that something is wrong with the main unit when power is lost. Victims should require from their alarm companies to produce their log records in case of operator negligence Good luck to all.
And you know what is the most messed up part? There are crime prevention officers living in these areas, and yet they fail to prevent crimes from occurring. I guess it's only when it is convenient for them that they respond. Like that cop who failed to report that hit and run incident yesterday at Miami beach. There were a few burglaries here in Hialeah too. One of them was literally one block away from an area that have over three cops. They are too busy to stop those crimes, but not too busy to abuse their position of authority to spy and do online videos using those footage, even violating HIPPA policies by exposing hospital and dental records of innocent people that they have a problem with. That is why people are tired of the police.

Actually it’s the rich people who are the poorest. I’ve been offering free stuff on amazon marketplace and the people who have been pulling up have been people with luxury cars from luxury neighborhoods like miami beach. In fact the only walmart that is busy is the one by northside.
