Haha nice. I went to Towson. never knew they were hosting matchups like this back in the day 🤣☠️ I would have definitely liked to have seen high level ball of that era as opposed to today.
What hurt Rodrick Rhodes at the next level was he wasn't the best outside shooter in the world. Probably better at UNC than Kentucky. With the exception of the outside shot may have been better than Ron Mercer, who was excellent.
I grew up in East Bmore. I remember those three coming the court around my way to run whole. I was around 12 or 13. I went up there to watch them play and could barely get a peep hole through the chain link fence surrounding the courts. Those guys were already hoop legends around my way and hadn't made it to college yet.😂 smh
Jason Kidd was the best player in the country in 92. So much was expected of Rodrick Rhodes who was ranked right behind Kidd, but it never worked out for him at Kentucky. Got a couple of years in the league though
@@johntheprofessional5039 he wasn’t a tweener. He was a legit 6’7” and was a wing. Rick Pitino just wanted him to play the way he wanted him to instead of allowing him to play his game. Coaches, especially coaches with Pitino’s ego will do shit like that
@@themansince what a lot of great pros did Pitino have in the league man? He hasn't one superstar guy to play in the league, so miss me with this great shit. And unless you work in this industry like I do, don't tell me shit about Rick Pitino and what's he's capable of. Rodrick actually got drafted in the first round after he transferred to USC, so somebody thought he was good enough for the NBA.

Roderick Rhodes!! Michael Lloyd, Donta Bright!! The amount of big time players that didn't even make the NBA or not even play 5 years.I couldn't even watch the NBA if I was them.
At least they played at a high level. Everybody is not going to make it. That is life! I know one thing, they made it farther than your ass! So, stop judging!
@@themansince Don't be so sensitive. My point is all these guys put in work and not to make it to the highest level would hurt, especially if you see guys that were not better than you playing in the league.

Congrats to my Squad once again. DEM 1992 Dunbar Poets National Champs. Baltimore's Dunbar "The Real Dunbar"😎😎😎
Michael Lloyd was a beast avg 34 and 32 his 2 years in JUCO
My teammate in prep school Orlando Ransom who coached at Maryland. Talked about him everyday. They was stacked.

NICE....I'm sending to my Son!!!
Arguably one of the all time greatest high school games ever played

three 1992 McDonald's All-Americans in this game: Rhodes for St. Anthony's, Bright and Lloyd for Dunbar
Keith Booth from Dunbar was a McDonald's All Aemerican the next year in 93

Rhodes was a great player. But he didn’t really have a go-to move and was a tweener at 6’6”. I really wish he would’ve excelled at Kentucky.

Great classic game right chare
Those fake bum Refs were 💩 in the second half calling things in favor of St. Anthony’s but it didn’t work 😂
92 Poets. Those that know *know.*
Above average St A’s team v. one of Dunbar’s best - ok
Why did they shooot a 2 when being down by 3? smh
