Thank you Andrea. I really enjoy every seconds of this trip. Your video explain so well our challange and show the beauty of this island. We found incredible conditions but also we got a fantastic group, super travel companions. This workshop rocks!
Really great explanations here Andrea regarding your use of telephoto lens and light conditions. Wonderful compositions. Well done. Hope you are well. Ciao. Alpha 21.
Hi Tom, great to hear from you! Thanks for the comment and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Iceland is such an incredible place to explore, with endless opportunities for experimentation. It’s truly inspiring! Ciao Alpha 21 😃
Hey Emil, thanks so much! Yeah, the weather was pretty unusual. The weather was so odd that it felt more like I was on a summer holiday than an Icelandic adventure. It was too warm to get that authentic Icelandic chill😃 Despite the warmth, the experience was absolutely amazing!
Thanks so much for the comment, and glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah, blue skies are definitely best for kicking back on the beach with a Mojito in hand 😄
Very good video, Andrea! I actually was on that tour, so seeing it through the eyes another photographer is especially interesting to me. Of course, our visions are different but I must admit that I recognized that the were some opportunities there that I missed. Looking forward to the next one!
Hi Svetlana, I appreciate you taking the time to comment and glad you enjoyed the video! It's always interesting to compare different approaches, and I'm happy the video provided some additional perspectives for you. Cheers
Love the videos, planning a trip to Iceland and have been considering purchasing the Fuji 50-140 so this was perfect. Do you use one of the teleconverters and do you have a preference on the 1.4 vs 2.0? Saw a few of the photos were zoomed past the 50-140’s normal range.
Thanks so much for the comment and glad you enjoyed the video! I don’t use teleconverters myself. From my experience, the 1.4x is passable, but the 2.0x is just terrible. I really wouldn’t recommend either. Ciao
Thanks Andrea, always very clear in the explanation and wonderful shots, great work!🧙♂
Thanks so much! A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to. 🧙🏻♂️😄
Looking forward for Part 2!
Hey Nik, it’s on its way 😃 Thanks for the comment! Ciao
