I've been an amateur landscape photographer for 30 years. First thing I did after watching this video was subscribe to your channel. Super solid video on landscape compostion! I'll be thinking about it during my landscape pic session with my drone this afternoon. Keep up the great work and looking foreward to more✌️

I used to set up my tripod and wait for the right light instead of moving around and find the right spot first. Thank you for this video and the blogpost on your website. Your videos are concise with lots of good information. I've learnt a lot from you and don't understand how you don't have more subscribers. Anyway, thank you Andrea and keep doing what you do.

Thanks so much for the comment! It's great to hear you like my videos, and I'm glad you find them useful. It can be beneficial to be stationary in the same position for an extended period of time. One of the most important advantages is that you're forced to explore multiple compositions without moving the tripod, which makes it a very interesting exercise to improve your ability to interpret a scene. Ciao :)

Very well done, Andrea! Really liked the photo and your two compositional questions to ask before pressing the shutter.

Damn, this content is so good... Wished I lived near the national parks of NY instead of the city so I could take photos like these... I have a Sony zve10 but that aint stopping me from making the best outcomes with what I got!

Thanks so much for the comment, I'm really glad you enjoyed the video. There is beauty to photograph everywhere, so don't get discouraged. There is an infinite number of beautiful photographs captured in "okay" places, and at the same time, there are also millions of crappy images captured in stunning locations. Ciao
