  • Brennen Nading and Mike Mancl have tags in their pockets for the final Iowa season of the spring. Brennen is up to bat first and after a hard day of hunting, they head to one of Mike’s permission pieces. Patience paid off with daylight running out as a big strutter came into the decoys and put on a show. Mike follows suit and connects on a late morning bird that the boys were able to suck out of the timber and into their setup.

    Nice birds, guys!
I’m liking that .410. What do you have on it for optics, and what do you figure is a legit range?

I have a vortex red dot on it. I held a pattern out to 40 yards with it but not sure what the knock down power is at that distance.

Are you able to go back to Iowa for the last period if you are unsuccessful in another period. As a nonresident?
