As a fellow Michigander, I can agree Michigan is so pretty in the summer. But weather here is so unpredictable and winter is rough but this state is full of fresh lakes to cool off in and I love it so much!❤

I live about two hours away from Lake Michigan and we visit once or twice every summer, I’d love to move closer. Winters are very unpredictable and rough but summers here really are gorgeous.🤍

Its rarely the type of freezing up here where its unbarable. Michigan definetly has its moments in the winter, but most of the season its just cold but tolerable. Glad you enjoyed it!

If you come back to Michigan i recommend going to harbor springs it’s such a beautiful area it’s about 30 minutes north the harbor springs ice cream shop is so good the beaches are gorgeous 😊
I was just at a Lake Michigan town 2 weeks ago. I'm going again in 2 more weeks. I love the ocean, but if you can't go to the ocean, the Great Lakes will definitely help. 😊
Have you ever tried Turo for car rentals? We had a good experience with our car rental when we flew into Orlando despite how crazy that airport can be. One downside is that outside of the big cities, Turo could be hit or miss it seems. ⛵ Love the great lakes!
