    Great landing Bobby and that thing flew great! Got mine in the air yesterday!! Used three different packs and it flew awesome with all of them!! I swapped out my fan though. Using the FMS 2000kv w/36mm motor and it get less amp draw with higher thrust for faster speeds!! Flew incredible! And had a firey booty!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

      Glad u got positive results with a edf change. Tbh I'm not a huge fan of the 2200kv unit. I'll be putting in a spare 2100kv or a WeMoec 8s unit in and using this T7a 2200kv in my Freewing F5.

      @@M4rkmcc21 the xfly has been great in certain planes. But the new 2000kv 36mm motor unit is better than all of them… and capable of doing 7s as well!! 😳😳😳😳

    • @M4rkmcc21
      @M4rkmcc21 Год назад

      @Gooniac33 Firey Booty I can never get more out of the 2000 than I can with the 2100. In all the planes iv tried its always near same as or 100g or so less thrust. Top speed and flight characteristics are similar tho. 7s would be tempting.

    Looking really good Bobby! It’s comes in nice and slow for the flare, with no Flaps. Question you guys all to seem to take off down hill on that field and land uphill? I fly into the wind at all times except it is dead stick. Even in cross wind I fly straight in the cross wing keep the wings level and as close as I can get to the run way and kick the rudder and flare for the roll out. Happy Flying Guys! 👏👏👍

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  Год назад +2

      It absolutely does!!! We normally break the rules...take off with the wind , la d with the wind, land in crosswinds and crab on in like you...it's all fun and great experience!!!

    Wow, nice maiden! Here's wishing they all go so well! Thank you so much for including the top speed in level flight! I hope you make this a part of all your reviews. I am seriously considering this one. The gear looks a lot like my freewing f-16 gear. I am a retired Boeing employee, so I have been watching the development of this one for a while. The red on the back is paying homage to the red tail Tuskegee airmen. To me the back half looks like an F-18 with only a single nozzle. Thanks again, you guys do a great job!

    • @RCPlaneReviewer
      @RCPlaneReviewer  Год назад +1

      Thanks for the kind words!!! We try hard to have fun and do a good job while being unbiased! It's a really good plane and the gear is beefy! I googled the T7 and learned of the nod to the Tuskegee airmen, which is awesome!

    Very nice flight. The full scale kind of bitter sweet for me. We were in competition with Boeing and lost the bid for the trainer contract. However, even though I work for the competitor of the full scale I really like the looks of this model. Especially the red on the aft section of the jet. Really sets it off. 👍👍😊
