Wild Geranium contains Geraniin, which is likely (imo) the main source of it's benefits against cold (not just astrigency, but I believe clobbering the virus)
I had some self sow in my woodland shade garden, i think it was the second variety you showed. I’m going to collect the seed and see if i can get a few more plants growing. I love how dainty the flowers are. Thanks for the video!
I found a big patch of wild geranium; it grows along a heavily shaded section of old railroad-to-trail line which is surprising because, just under the surface, there is very little soil, mostly large gravel typical around rails.
So, I hope somebody here can help me out. So, A while back back, in the early 90s, an older teenage boy showed me a neat trick with the wild geranium. I can't recall exactly what the geranium did but, I'll Do my best to try & explain it. So He grabbed the pointy end & twisted it? maybe? Or bent it in a 90deg. I can't recall. After this, I can't recall if the seeds shot out, or if the pointy end twisted around & somehow tracked time. (5, 10, 30 seconds) (or even 1 minute) Its really bugging me! I've been trying to show my boys, But I cant remember what the trick was!!! Thanks to all!!!
I discovered this plant doing this when i watered it. It was towards the end of summer and a little water would make it start popping out seeds and shoot them pretty far lol. It was interesting & loud. I wonder if the person licked thier fingers then touched it?

We have this in our shade garden. I brought it out of our woods over a decade ago and it has been very happy with some partial sun.
I can't wait to find this. I'm sure I've seen it before & didn't know.
Thank you!

I always called them "fire cracker" plants because of this. ❤
