You're Welcome Nick.........Great Memories and A Great Looking Old Car.
Did Groucho send your Dad to his local Plymouth-DeSoto dealer? (...'and when you drive in, tell them GROUCHO SENT ME'...the tagline he always closed YOU BET YOUR LIFE with.)
@@adamantman3200 good one 👍
Wish I was there 👍
I use to listen to this program in 1979. I thought they were old at the time. I just realized they were first run LOL
Crystal said losing is the biggest thrill of all and that reminded me of a story in my family.
I had an aunt on the Choctaw reservation in OK, actually an aunt by marriage only but she was still a favorite of mine. She got her daughter to drive her to the bingo hall where she was an avid player.
One particular night she won really big, triple digits or maybe four figures, I don't remember. She wouldn't stop playing and finally lost everything she'd won. So on the way home she was in high spirits and her daughter said "But mother you lost umpteen hundred dollars."
She answered "I never had so much fun in my life!"
Choctaw ridge the old to Billy Jo was my favorite song.
Who was the 3rd of June they're sleepy Dusty day... 🎵
Thanks again ChillySunshine for all your uploads :D
You're welcome tuber gal.
I hear the song "Angel Eyes" by Abba playing in the background. Probably another radio station bleeding through when this was recorded

I heard what sounded like people talking on CB radios in the background of some episodes.
@@williamnorton9547 CB radios were notorious for doing that to radio & TV reception. In the 1970's those things were everywhere. Now they're a quaint, primitive, nearly forgotten form of communication.
You’re right.
Later on you get '3 Times A Lady'.
Binge listening during pandemic😱 Labor day 100° Heatwave 2020. Oakland .CA
I'm being woken up in the middle of the night by that damn door again!!
A gambler with a system is to a greater or lesser extent, insane.
People addicted to other things have insane theories too. I hear F Scott Fitzgerald reasoned that he couldn't be alcoholic because he was guzzling beer not liquor.
The audio in this story is terrible. But I'm trying to piece it together.
She's crying because she remembers her husband is gambling anything away
I was never allowed to gamble. I couldn't even throw a ball to get a teddy bear at the fair. Funky story.
The doublee background voices are so annoying. But it probably can't be helped.
Music in the background? I thought it was Abba Fernando lol
