Society has become full of moral nomads. Lost in the ether looking for any ideology that best serves their selfish wants, where judging them for their choices or lifestyle has become heracy. Wokeness has a religious style hierarchy, full of prophets, faith leaders and worshippers who banish heartics. They have removed God, but immediately replaced it with the same ideological structure .

Wokeism is the product of postmodernism and neo-Marxist critical theory, but in some ways, it's basically the secularization bastardization of the social gospel, itself a materialistic perversion of the Christian gospel. In other ways, wokeism is effectively a modern gnostic cult, anf as James Lindsay has very well explained, this is most explicit in gender queer ideology. We're basically Christians fighting the destructive and subversive gnostic heresies all over again. They say history rhymes, after all.

The attempt to remove God has brought me closer to my faith. I started reading the Bible, and have made it a point to carve out family time, things I had unintentionally moved away from over the years. So in a way, all of the craziness has been a blessing for me.

Besides, there are good reasons, especially these days, to think Chesterton was onto something. With all our technological advances, we are being told that despite clear, scientifically verifiable biological differences between male and female, from DNA and chromosones to bone structure and hormones, male and female are just social constructs but homosexuals are born that way. And men can become pregnant and give birth.
Even some scientists, being very antiscientific and ideologically captured, are telling us these things.

I read this book, "How the West Really Lost God: A New Theory of Secularization" by Mary Eberstadt. Very insightful, but it also made me super concerned about where we're going as a society.

The problem falls in the fact that all organized religion has become terribly corrupted and it instantly puts up red flags to people. The reply is “they are lying to control me”. Not a bad thought. Nobody teaches the youth about purpose and people own god. The one they feel is real. Not the one that punishes and tries to control
During my liberal phase when I was about 18-21, I had zero use for religion. I just thought it was pointless at best, unenlightened, etc. That I/we didn't need a God to tell us what was right and wrong (we do actually; you can say that but your morals are shaped by the Christian principles in this society even if you're an atheist).
Starting around 2005 I slowly moved towards the right and I'm now very conservative. I'm still not Christian, but I've turned 180 on religion. I think it's foundational to a healthy society now and many problems stem from the move away from God. I'm not saying you need to believe in the Christian God; the Jewish or Muslim one is fine as well. Ultimately the problem is putting ones self above God.
I want to start going to church again (did as a kid sometimes, never believed though). I think I started changing my view on religion when I was seeing a therapist for my alcoholism some years back. I remember he told me once, basically, "I choose to believe because I think that's preferrable to the alternate. If there happens to be no God, what have you lost by believing?" Something along those lines. That made a lot of sense to me and started my changing perspective on it. I think the people that are most successful in battling addiction are the ones that follow the AA principle of believing in a higher power.

To me most if not all humans seem to need a grounding and the believe of a more important thing than themselves, when they dont they just find something else and put it in that space anyway. Activism, social justice, Science, diet things, covid recently and the like is basically a religion replacement without the guidelines in the big 3 religions. It was personal success was for the better meant of the family and your tribe now its for personal glory which isnt a stable way of doing things.
Two points. The point made about humanity still being the same was briefly explored in Star Trek First Contact. Picard's need for vengeance that was recognized virtually illustrated that.
Secondly, that's the thing I think a lot of people find hard to accept. Our potential is both exciting and terrifying all at once. There's more to us than we know, as JBP has repeatedly stated. We are capable of great, incredible and inspiring things, AND we're also capable of disgusting, horrific, and very evil things. It's very important for us to realize and accept that, and voluntarily take on the struggle. Which is perhaps what some people are very adverse against. They simply really don't like the idea of struggling.
Most people, I would even argue more people, don't like the idea of looking themselves in a mirror like that for fear or shame of what they might find. That's why so many people basically lie to themselves about how good of a person they really are.

That shadow will find other ways to manifest itself unless the person confronts and deals with it. Not confronting it gives it power and control over the individual.
Theosophy as a NON-DOGMATIC religious movement is focusing spot on upon the Divine, and teaching people (through a scientific process of trial and error, doing meditative experiment, being honest with evidence, cultivating noble qualities, mastering consciousness technologies etc) how to approach this Divine in a pragmatic and very real sense.
It is absolutely against all false idols, including the idols of absurd dogmas, whether they be conventional, religious, political, philosophical, cultural or "scientific"!
It is for cultivating loving universal Brotherhood/Sisterhood of all Humanity, for performing honest comparative religious studies with the aim of finding most of all what is common and universal, for ethically scientific research of the occult faculties of women and men, and removing the taboos on the topic of these natural abilities.
Evidently Theosophy is not perfect. But it CAN provide the role of a new "religion" for the current, somewhat more rational era of human consciousness evolution.
There are similar schools of esoteric thought, that can be combined in a complementary way with Theosophy, such as Hylozoics, Gnostics etcetera..
I wouldn't put all the blame, in that simplistic and easy way, to modern society removing the idea of god (I'm not a believer nor spiritual as you said as an option), I think we need to really look around to figure out what are the causes, no only about the "idea of god", but any idea in general and any possibility of having critic and analytical mind processes.
Modern society is a really vague term, I rather say that's technology the main cause of this idea removal fact.
The addiction to technology, the excess of comfort (not 4 all), the surplus of food easily reached by our gluttony (not 4 all, again), materialism, individualism, affective weakness, misconstructed narcissism, lack of education and the will to knowledge and so, yeah "modern society" is vague enough to hide the real issues behind it.
Beside that, I thought that god was never an idea (as an idea requires facts and proves) but a matter of faith (no prove needed). Please, if I'm getting it the wrong way I'm open to enlightenment, I'll appreciate sincerely.

Nobody removes God, that's laughable. The God concept is a personal phenomenon and the individual chooses to accept a belief system or not.
If society causes you to change your beliefs that's on the you the individual. Our Society is not torturing people for their religion as in the past so it's not a matter of duress.

Respectfully, when you claim that "we rely upon logic" quite the opposite is true. Either you are misunderstanding what "logic" is and does, or you confuse it with what is "visible". Actually, logic has long been abandoned and almost no one hears about the 3 LAWS OF THOUGHT, because these principles have been removed from the vast majority of publication.
Moreover, by suggesting that there is some better means of distinguishing Truth from Falsehood, by DE-EMPHASIZING LOGIC, you contribute to the very confusion that already exists. Aristotle taught another means of knowledge which was WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, and HOW. (5W1H) Public schools in American began removing this "5W1H" method for research and reporting in the early 1940's. So with the removal of the 3 LAWS OF LOGIC, and the 5W1H Methodology, and the substitution of "fluff" as a replacement, the American population is "Dumbed Down" with each generation. Logic is what needs to be restored. For that matter, the English Language itself is a "logical" language and anyone who knows philosophy recognizes this. Most of the American Population is so reduced mentally, that people generally have no idea of the difference between Metaphysical Realism and Metaphysical Nominalism. (Just another example for you to consider.)_ We cannot help you if you THINK you know what is going on, but actually are still trying to figure out everything by yourselves, and like radicals, abandon the historical foundations for language, religion, philosophy and science.

Then Satan and his followers will be sent straight to hell. We who are children of the King will go be with him in Heaven. We are in the world but we are not Of the world 🌎🌍. Those that mock and Blaspheme against God will burn in the firey pits of SATAN's hell. Mockers and blasphemous heretics will be roasting in hell in misery for eternity. Man has NOT overcome God. God is letting this happen. Man has not erased God. God is letting Mankind go so far before he says it's time for Jesus to return. In the end Satan and his followers will be locked in hell for eternity. Let the world believe as they choose. God gives us free choice. We either choose to believe and follow God Almighty and Jesus Christ or you belong to Satan. We each choose one or the other. You mock and Blaspheme God then you are Satan's child. It's each person's choice. In the end it's between heaven and hell
