For us it was a ridiculously "hot mexican" pizza and litres of coke with TFI Friday paid for by my brother who maxed out his first credit card to a ridiculous level and had to stay in for two years to repay it. Shower, t-shirt, jeans, blowdry and brylcreem, and walk 30 mins to the local late bar. Golden days. Would know maybe 30 people in the pub. Anyone new was another friend. Music blasting, girls, kissing, chippy, taxi, home. The best days of my life.
When artists write their own music they get the royalties. Much better for the company to have a plastic band and do the writing for them. Also, these artists had something to say and couldn't be controlled. Unlike the plastics.
