Addendums I forgot to include. Of course they came to me after I published the video lol!
THE CITY - The pulsing aggressive synth they added with the EP version was likely inspired by the synth from M83's Midnight City.
CHOCOLATE - The quote "The poetry is the streets in full living colour" actually originates from protesting French students during the period of civil unrest in May 1968, channelling an anti-establishment sentiment. "La beauté est dans la rue" is a 2011 book of posters produced by the Atelier Populaire (Popular Workshop) in support of the May 1968 events in France. It was edited by Johan Kugelberg with Philippe Vermés and published in the United Kingdom by Four Corners Books in 2011.
SEX - The line "She said use your hands and my spare time" was repurposed from an old Drive Like I Do song called Lost Boys. Those lyrics are slightly vampiric: "She said use your FANGS and my spare time"
