Will it be possible in the future to tell us when these were recorded so we can understand the relevance of the information?

Yes will make an effort to add that in the future. We chatted in January, and it was definitely a “pinch me” kind of moment as a climber 😁

I haven't watched even half of this yet but this is 100% one of the densest displays of a view into Adam's mind I have seen yet! He seems particularly excited to talk.

I appreciate the kind words and support! There’s also a full bonus episode with him over on Patreon, which you can listen to for free with a trial or you could toss me a few bucks and join up as a member. All good either way. Glad you are enjoying the interviews, lots more wherever you get your podcasts as well.

Let’s just stop and take a moment to appreciate that, while so many high profile people in the sports world are full of crap on the subject, here we have a top tier climber giving refreshingly reasonable and actionable nutrition and lifestyle advice: eat a varied diet rich in plants (protein intake could be higher but whatever), don’t drink a lot of alcohol and have some way of regulating your energy balance (in Adam’s case, a small restriction in his eating window).
Get a lot of good quality sleep
    Do stuff you love.
Even if that has nothing to with how hard he climbs, that’s all just really good advice. Every public heath organization in the world supports this message.

Im a woman and a pretty week climber but I manage to have a similar mind tricks, rhythm tricks and I manage to do do till 8a. Power is not everithing. I don't have a good jim. Sometimes people come from better jims and bolders and trainings and with all that muscles they can do much on the Rock.
Adam is the best climber but always so down to earth. I like his aproach to do his best without over complicate.Thank you Adam❤

Adam said he'd like to climb "a couple" more 9c's - so does that mean he's going to try DNA??

Thanks for this amazing, awesome and complete interview. In the beginning I thought it was too long, and when it finished definitely it was too short... 😊

Probably one of the reasons why Adam was so weak, but climbed hard, was his hypermobility. He gets his hips super close to the wall.

Need someone with the length and structure to send 5.15D silence probably. Being strong doesn't matter if it's not your style and suits your build.
