It's interesting, Korosensei was the only tentacle user who asked to be weak. Every one else asked to be strong, to be able to kill him, to be acknowledged by him. Yet in the end Korosensei was the strongest.

When I first started this series, although I did enjoy it, I didn't quite understand what all the fuss was about. But over time I grew to love each and every single one of the unique characters and after the big twist midway through season two, once we start learning about Koro-sensei's past, it was absolutely amazing and turned out to be one of my all time favourite anime series. *spoilers ahead* The last 13 episodes were one hell of an emotional rollercoaster and the ending, as depressing as it is, was perfect. Because as much as I hate to say it, it's true that the world would never allow a being as strong as Koro-sensei to run around freely - even though they were the ones who "created" him in the first place...
About the moon: The song first says "anata wa mikazuki", and then "watashi imachizuki". Mikazuki is the moon of the 3rd day of a lunar month (the 1st day is new moon), a very fine crescent moon. Imachizuki is the moon of the 18th day. Day 15 is a full moon, so day 18 has begun to wane. The illuminated zone of mikazuki is exactly the same as the dark zone of imachizuki. That is to say: they are complementary. If we draw mikazuki and imachizuki, they fit together perfectly like a puzzle, forming a full moon. The true meaning of that phrase is "You are the part I was missing."
And it makes perfect sense to reference the moon. The tie Aguri gave Korosensei was a crescent moon, the same experiment on him destroyed the moon in the first place..and the part of the moon that's left is a mikazuki. Spoilers ahead. "If i was just a fraction of a second faster" is a line used before in the anime, but after being used again in this sense really shows a lot, at first it was all about killing, if the students were just a bit faster, they would've succeeded in their plan in killing, but then it was used as if they were just a fraction of a second faster, koro-sensei would've been able to save her.

im going to be a teacher once i stepped out of college, i really hope that i could be like korosensei once i become a teacher.. a teacher that's strong, protect the students, understand the students and always guide the students through thick and thin. assassination classroom is the best school anime I've ever watch and korosensei really motivate me more to become a teacher :)
Just remember the 3 important rules of being one. 1. Never miss the opportunity to learn yourself. 2. Be sure to always be ready to help any student no matter where and when they need it. 3. Always keep a smile and teach the students what path they want. And always make sure to give them the lectures if needed.
this anime was my very first. And how glad I am that it was this one. Koro-sensei showed me how it is possible to do so much good in even one's final year of life on this earth. By changing the lives of one class, they go on to install the same change in others. The role of good parents and teachers has more importance in my eyes thanks to this anime. It's so good.
This song is one of those that is just sad in its own without any context needed. Like tabidachi no uta felt warm but the sadness came from Koro sensei’s death but this song’s tone is already sad on its own.

Such a good anime I didn't expect to feel so much. I honestly was just planning on watching one episode and ended up loving it. It had a lot of funny moments, life lessons, and feels :') Highly recommend everyone watches it
Koro sensei's story was the first scene in any anime that made me tear up in a very long time. The song, the fact that we saw his story after so many episodes where we saw this alien tentacle character who always had a smile on his face, i thought that this character never knew sadness. After all, this was introduced as a villain who wanted to destroy the earth and then became a teacher. His story completely caught me off guard

This has been one beautiful anime. Its unique and very well made. I enjoyed every minute of it.

Koro-sensei showed me how it is possible to do so much good in even one's final year of life on this earth. By changing the lives of one class, they go on to install the same change in others. The role of good parents and teachers has more importance in my eyes thanks to this anime. It's so good.
The compositions for this anime definitely added to the grandeur of it. This track, and the second ED of season 2, I specifically adore.

This song is one of those that is just sad in its own without any context needed. Like tabidachi no uta felt warm but the sadness came from Koro sensei’s death but this song’s tone is already sad on its own.

Koro sensei's story was the first scene in any anime that made me tear up in a very long time. The song, the fact that we saw his story after so many episodes where we saw this alien tentacle character who always had a smile on his face, i thought that this character never knew sadness. After all, this was introduced as a villain who wanted to destroy the earth and then became a teacher. His story completely caught me off guard
This anime made me want to become a teacher so that I can impact and influence the life of many people like koro sensei did
