Great review,thank you.i personally like xiaomis dynamic range, colors and contrast, the zoom doesnt have OIS thats why honor is better in that area, and also front camera of xiaomi doesnt have AF.but id take xiaomi, great flat screen, faster charging, and its the newer device hence xiaomi will probably still fix some camera related issues , and it has a superior processor.either way both are respectable mid rangers 👍🏽
I think it's not only the OIS but also the sensor. The Honor 200 pro is using a larger Sony imx858 sensor for the telephoto. This is the same sensor Xiaomi uses on the telephotos for the Xiaomi 14 ultra.
@eoin4597 maybe, but usually pictures come out blurry in low light because of lack of ois, sensor size helps with shutter speed e.i. more light = faster shutter = less blur

Xiaomi 14t pro handsdown if you try to compare it personally you will know that honor 200 pro feels like cheap and the camera of xiaomi is better than honor 200 pro if you compare it personally,200pro camera looks ovely saturated.
Camera of xiaomi looks natural like iphone shots.

i think having the different filters photographies side by side is good in some scenarios / comparisons, like in this one, and that is good in other comparisons to have more samples than this side by side

Finally a guy who test the zoom with long distance text. The easiest way to find the best zoom, but the 99% of youtubers don't do this!! I am close to buy 200 pro. In this price level it is the best!

Thanks for this comprehensive comparison. I am looking at these two phones specifically and deciding which to buy as they seem the best value for money mid rangers right now. My photos are up to x3 zoom so don't think I'd see much difference in photos, I can see beyond x3 the Honor takes the edge and it's not even close. I am interested in your thoughts on the phones in general, if you had to spend your money on one of them - which one will it be, not just for the camera - software, battery, display, sound quality are all important factors too. For what it's worth when I went to the shop earlier today, the Xiaomi felt better as a phone design and it seems Honor has a slight edge in price and camera.... but without using them extensively I can't decide which to buy.
Selfie camera definitely better on 200 Pro except on night videos, where the Xiaomi seems even better.
Honor just humiliate Xiaomi 14 T Pro. I Think Xiaomi 14t pro is really overrated, images are very bad, i can't undestand why on the intertet many people think it's good, it's one of most disappointing camera system on a phone of that price that i ever see. The Tele its like 2/10. No OIS or EIS and the zoom quality its terrible, JUST TERRIBLE.
