Appreciate it! This is one of the more accessible team videos I've seen and your reasoning walkthrough was great. Most of the other comps I've seen have been like Gnut/Marius, Seer, Lydia, etc.

Great video, very informative as usual. I was sure after waiting for years to pull him you were finally going to try the mighty Geo. I really had fun trying out different teams but I always get back to Geo. My best team is Nekmo, Geo, Lady M as the stunner, Thor and Shamael (100% at lvl 24, not sure I have enough speed and accuracy for higher levels).
I wanted to thank you again. I went back and reworked a couple things and I can get lvl 22 consistently now. I got to thinking about it and I think they say kymar should be the slowest and he was my fastest. So I went back to doom tower hard and decided to try kymar ,although I was very skeptical. But he made all the difference I finally got one DT hard rotation done. I figured I should try him there fast before I slow him down for the queen of hearts which I'll do this week and speed tune the rest of them. Praise God is all I have to say.
seems a little less challenging compared to the odin event dungeon, but still a really fun dungeon to play. haven't settled on my final farming team yet, but a few champs i have been using... spider - 25% speed aura in dungeons, force affinity, decrease defense + weaken on 1 skill & decrease attack on another, 0 buffs geomancer - 25% hp aura, force affinity, decrease accuracy, damage deflection with enemy max hp added in, 0 buffs rathalos - 30% atk aura in dungeons, force affinity, awesome nuker, 2 buffs only placed on himself bellower - decrease attack, decrease defense, decrease speed, and block active skills debuffs (be sure to give him nature's bounty blessing), 0 buffs
I just started this being lvl 60 and managed to gain lvl 13 w/o going too far into the mechanical side of it. After that I get obliterated ;-) Thnx for your content as always. Your tips are always so clear and structured 👍

I'm using Mithrala as lead, Scyl, Artak, Wukong and Geomancer. Got up to 24 with that team and now need to switch up. Probably Doompriest for Geo? Do you know if the drop rates are the same this time? Like stage 20 being the best for accessories. What was the best stage for gear, 24?
I haven't looked at the drop rate chart since the last event. i would assume it's the same, though. I think Saph has the information on his channel somewhere.
Very excited to be alongside the f2p challenge as i just took over my sons account. All he has is monkey and athel. Gonna make it my f2p account so will be following along to grab some advice and strategies.
These vids are a godsend for my alts that have pulled the worst of the worst champs. On my main i speed clear with: Shamael, Gnut x2, Mistrider Daithi (just bought his 6* soul), and Mikage. Honestly, Shamael is the superstar MVP in this dungeon. Even without mikage and double gnut, doing the dungeon without Shamael is just day and night difference.
I agree - Shamael's kit fits this dungeon perfectly. I think the only better way to clear it is to kill the boss before she even goes. That's tricky without at least a double gnut.
Shamael is going to be my farm champ alongside other champs that provide buffs and such. Debuff immune twice, revive, block dmg, purify, everything to just crush it.
My team is Mikage, Geo, Arix, Venus, Shamael. 20 second farm on level 20. Mikage and Shamael are the slowest and Venus is the fastest at 195. Everyone is at least 185
I just made a run with 2 buffs each champ and she did not instantly take a turn. I thought it was a bug. but then i read the passive again and it said grants an extra turn, and not instant turn. this can be a loophole for bringing buffs or maybe not
Anyone who places a debuff or a negative effect needs accuracy. In addition, you can put 2 pinpoint accessories on a damage dealer, say, just to get them some more speed if you need it. The set really works for almost any champion to varying degrees.
I have a 5 star awakened Pharsalas and a Sham but not the gear for higher than 30k hp for both or damage so they get one or two shot by aoe or hits by stage 14/15. It took me 10 minutes to manual down stage 15 with a team I tried last night. I have all these listed for the budget team. You should also show what gear, stats, and masteries you are using.
Most of the stats are all shown in the video. I've mentioned a few of the gear sets as well. But honestly, I just used too many champs in this video to also break down each build completely - would have been a 90 minute video. That being said, I'll try to show more in any future videos on the event dungeon. Thanks for the comment!
are you doing Hydra? He is awesome in Hydra and you can gear him for that and it will work in this event dungeon too. I have build mine in defensive sets (Guardian & Stalwart) with 100% crit so he does damage but a focus on survivability.
@ i am only day 73 of my account , so far who I have are useless at hydra so I never do it unfortunately, my best characters are Hansel , he man , Sun Wukong , lady Noelle and sir Nic , stokk the broken , and I have Belz the reckoner in waiting to summon. No other leggos , I have a lot of voids but none built I have 5 coldhearts only 1 built , seer , shamal , whisper, mordecai , lady Annabelle , demytha , husk , venomage , uggo and deacon , not sure who to put together for hydra of this lot 🤷🏼

This is so frustrating getting mowed down no matter what I try. Gnut, + 4 Shamael, rhio, Elva, Scyl, warlord, Kymar, Dymytha, Ninja, vogoth +4, Geomancer and many others get murdered by this boss. It's only when I add Pheidi that I can win every 4th battle at 20 or 21. Pinpoint looks great but is it worth running level 19 with this boss? I can add doompriest and deacon but right now they're stripped and with everything else I've tried failing if that doesn't work I'll just have to go back to farming the other dungeons on hard mode till I get better gear. It just blows my mind that you can run level 7 hard mode ice golem with times x3 speed drops, super raids 450 times and not get one decent piece of speed gear. I'm starting to see why it takes years to gear up for a dungeon like this, lol. I did get some decent avenger gear though😭 I think this game is starting to depress me
The drop rates in RAID can be very frustrating, for sure. That's yet another reason to try to solve the event dungeon - better rates! It sounds like you've got good champs, so the issue may be the speed tune. Carefully consider what order you want your champs to take their turns in, and also make sure everyone is running at the right speed when compared to the boss. Finally, it is totally fine to farm a lower level if you need to. Just try to get as much decent 5-star gear as you can and it may help you progress in the dungeon too. Remember, this dungeon will be open for the entire event, so don't get too fussed right now. You've got time.

And I think I'm just venting because Im 2 stars away from Lydia for dark elves faction and spent all week prepping barbarians for what was already done, lol. Then I hit a wall at level 115 on hard doom tower and was frustrated that I was so close to finally beating one rotation of hard doom tower. And lastly my clan sucks and the owner rage quit and he was the only one that could even beat easy clan boss. So I really appreciate your response and encouragment and sorry for the rant. It was just a lot of little things all adding up to one big headache. Have a blessed night!

Lol, thanks! Honestly, I bet there are more F2Pers this year than last year. We've got a LOT of new CCs on the scene, and I think the spectrum has shifted more towards the low-spend/F2P end. I could be wrong, but I expect a fierce competition this year!
Yes. Not sure if that was a question. Mithralla is an excellent cleanser who's really easy to build high resist on, and she's freely accessible to every player, whereas Shamael has to come from a shard. He's an epic though, so it's probably six of one...
I need to shut down and see if I can push higher but I'm farming 24: Mithrala Eostrid (9 piece protection) Mikage (9 piece protection) Krixia (2 turn stoneskin) Seer With the allies stunned I didn't care about the extra turns and Seer whipes. Takes 2mins but fine for now
I struggled with both Eostrid and Seer. Eostrid actives the boss every time she uses her A3. And Seer needs buffs, which either feeds the boss, or the buffs are gone when she uses karma burn. I'm sure there's a speed tune that can work (and the protection must help). For now, I'm going to try out a Gnut comp. See if I can't one-shot this boss before she gets a turn.
@ColredPlaysRSL I understand. And that frame of thought will help them in the long run. But with the very limited roster and gear of the early game applying it will be much harder ... where a player in the mid game can use your advice very very well. Some advice on some rares that work well would do wonders for early game players.

You are welcome! I think lvl 13 is fairly nice progress. The dungeon is open for 8 weeks. I'm sure you'll finish much higher than 13 by the end.

Yeah, Shamael is perfectly suited for this dungeon, especially if you build him for damage.

I walked all the way through stage 13 and 14 is kicking my ass.
The speed and accuracy requirements seem pretty high compared to legacy dungeons
The event dungeon is harder than the classic dungeons, and the stat requirements ARE higher at the same stages.

What gear would you recommend for Shamal ? I have him sitting in storage never used him 🙈

Theory crafting the dungeon should help everyone. That's why I talk so much about not copying my teams, but using the theory to build your own teams.
