- Tom Jaramillo discusses the field of electrocatalysis, speaking about the field's background and the possibilities for it's future in energy infrastructure. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Stanford and a GCEP research theme leader in the area of electrochemical energy conversion and storage.
Simply put, yet comprehensive. Thank you so much Prof. Thomas Jaramillo.
Finally something on the web about electrocatalysis :-)
finally yes
i realize I am kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to stream newly released movies online?
@Ezra Layton Flixportal :)
@Brooks Maddox thanks, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there =) I appreciate it !!
@Ezra Layton no problem :)
very fascinating lecture
Seems like a perfect bolt-on option for an Allam Cycle Generator, which produces and captures pure CO2.
Omg awesome very related to my work
DG^0=-value does not represent the spontaneity of a reaction. Based on DG=DG^0+RTLn(Keq), in equilibrium DG=0 and DG^0=-RTln(Keq). DG=- value shows the spontaneity of a chemical or an electrochemical reaction, not DG^0 negative value. DG^0 shows how much is a reaction far from the equilibrium state.
DG < 0 does tell you that a process is spontaneous, but this depends on the concentration of the reactants and products. DG^0 does say if the overall reaction is spontaneous. Here is a link that helps www.chemicalforums.com/index.php?topic=79826.0
omg lol the old guy trying to argue with the presenter @ 1:07:08
Refreshing to hear an American (yt) Electrochemist speaking on behalf of an American (yt) Institution
Well done!
Try living in a world where Delta G>0 for a spontaneous process ;-)
