I appreciate your page and your perspective, and without question respect your devotion and commitment through faith. Faith is one of the most difficult things to have, maybe the hardest but that's not really something for me to judge. The thing I would consider, having been raised in the catholic faith and church myself, although once I was an age where I was respected enough as an individual by my family and my community to make the decision for myself, I chose to leave the church. While I left the church some twenty five years or so ago, I never left my faith, or my beliefs, I simply believe that through trying to live as the lamb once did, to be in service to others at all times and in all ways, that I may find a purpose much greater than myself. I recall many teachings from the bible, not so much word for word, although I cannot and will not attempt to speak for the shepherd, I like to think that he doesn't command from his flock in the same way from one to the next, he simply requires that which is necessary that you may be the best version of yourself and in doing so you honor him as you were just as we all were created in his image, and being that creation in his image he blessed all of us with the gift of this life that we may experience what it has to offer each of us as he allows and sees fit that we may learn to become the best version of ourselves, that we may once more become whole, so that when we are called home we may once again return to his side in peace just as the shepherd wills it to be so. There was a time in the early life of Jesus that he was learning in the church, and reading the scriptures of his time, and I remember he left the church, he did not like what the church had become, a monument like a false god where people would come to purchase favor in penance for their sins, there were great towers, and gold, and treasures, and so forth, but there was no god as god had left the church because it was no longer his church. It had become nothing more than a corrupt sort of place for people to worship false idols and more about themselves and their faith was in worldly possessions. I too felt that way my entire life, from the earliest memories I have when I was brought into the church, baptized, and reborn in my faith. I've never wavered in my faith, I'd say I have a very good relationship with the shepherd, we speak often, and his will never leads me where his grace cannot keep me, for that I'm always thankful, and I believe it's these things, these experiences over the course of my life, in unison with the things I've endeavored to learn over all those years when I was eventually the one searching for the questions I had and not being handed the words and told what to read, what to think, or how to live my life, that's something between myself and god, as it is with everyone who believes and follows in faith, I've always followed my heart and used my head while doing so, I feel it's what I was born to do god knows me, and god knows my heart, to not follow would be to turn away from the shepherd , I do what I can when I can to help any I pass along the path set out for me, sometimes that's nothing more than listening to someone who needs to get somethings out of their thoughts as not everyone is content speaking to themself and to god in the same way, sometimes it's much more, more giving, more labor, more sacrifice, and it must be done still, as it would not be asked of me to do so, my back would not be so strong, my ability to make do in whatever remains when the dust settles and all have taken everything I have to give and more, I have faith, and through living my life in these ways, from always trying to help, through always trying to live in peace to the limits of my ability to do so as sometimes I fail, through my ongoing relationship with god and allowing him to be in my heart, to be the guide to which my life continues the path, I know him, he knows me, and my life has meaning, I have purpose, to live with purpose is truly a blessing worth the sacrifice once must make to get their, in giving freely of myself that others may live in peace and happiness, I find my truest feeling of happiness, and it's in these sacrifices, giving and sharing, the shepherd rewards me, and in the most creative and surprising ways, it's as if he knows my sense of humor and I his, I kid you not he likes to mess with me, he without question tests me every day, a man must be vigilant in his faith if he is to fulfill his destiny, and it's in that, I felt my purpose was to simply share of myself, of my faith, and to share something the shepherd has shared with me on many occasions my brother, that is in honoring your faith, and living your life in purpose, through making those tough decisions because it is good and it is right to do so, it's very important for you brother to remember that though you believe that it is your master that says you must call out sin, to call out the sinners and the like, then it surely is so, but in doing so do not lose sight of what the true purpose of doing those things is, and what it most certainly is not, it is to show your fellow man the way, not to cast him out, not to pass judgement only the lord is fit to judge, not me, not you, no man may pass judgement to do so is a sin, to feel worthy that you may do as only god is capable, so keep up the good fight, you are doing very well but there is always more to be done for there is also the one that holds dominion in this life that we must always drive back for he may hold sway over the wicked, he may have power in this world, but be not fooled by his tricks, his silver tongue, and certainly be not useful to his purpose, do not judge, simply acknowledge what is, and be that which may show your brothers and sisters the way out of the darkness and into the light, in doing so the world becomes a much better place, forgive and be forgiven, the shepherds flock is very much in need of more good people such as yourself, the enemy has been very busy these days, vigilance is more important than I fear far too many can ever know. Peace always.
