It's beautiful, but it is a pity that roof doesn't fold in. Perhaps the mechanism is too fragile?
We do agree, it's largely down to the development cost of creating such a function. We have previously built remote operated doors and lighting in some of models, but the cost of a model can increase significantly from even what we already charge!
The working door handles are all the more out of this world! Again, the insane attention to detail all done by hand, it's outstanding on how you all got the interior to look so damn good, keep up your models, i may purchase them one day haha:)

amazing. by any chance, (and i dont know if this is how it works) could you perhaps build a model of the SRT Tomahawk X VGT? id love to see a model of that vehicle. ❤ again, amazing model, you guys are very talented
We have previously collaborated with both Bugatti and McLaren to build their VGT models at 1:8 scale, but have never worked with Dodge before. Without some kind of commercial agreement, this would be classed as Unique Build Project, which comes with a price tag much higher than even our bespoke models, as all the development and licensing costs would be put through an individual model.

That's great and all but why is it more expensive than a brand new Dacia?
There are many reasons, but summarised: we are completely different businesses. We make the best model we can with no effort or expense spared; the development of one of our 1:8 scale models can take up to 5000 hours and so, when we set prices for each model, we not only have to cover the costs of that initial development, but the build and much more besides (like acquiring the data, getting the licenses from the relevant manufacturers, building the tooling, etc). We are a low-volume business, as every model of ours is handmade, and we do have to recoup the costs of development, which is not an inexpensive process. Dacia, however, have specialised in the mass production of low value (in car terms at least) vehicles, allowing them to recoup their costs through large volume sales of full size cars.

Are the seats leather
We don't use real leather for our seats as they just don't scale down well. We use authentic materials wherever possible but ultimately will choose whatever best reflects the material in our model. In this case, our seats are made from resin castings. 😎
