Wow these trial decks are amazing and an absolute steal. Like providing sleeves, a deck box, completely beginner friendly which could switch into the usual decks. Such a win GJ bushi
This is so cool, I like the reasoning behind it a lot. Coming from Yugioh the existing design for the decks was already very welcoming but this goes even further. Fantastic move to introduce new players, gotta take my hat off to bushi.
I hope the English version of the Trial Decks will be simmilar, cuz I really like these decks and want to pick them up, like even the Trigger Counters are really neat, and I just never thought about doing something like that, also kinda wish we at least got 1 of the Free PG's from the first set like how the last few V Trials came with 1 Draw PG
These trail decks look so amazing! I just finished building my very first Vanguard deck *ever* by powering up ST6, and I definitely want to get my hands on all three of these!! These are just great overall!
I hope we get the Blitz order as box Toppers for the seventh set since set 6 is soon to come outm Also I can't wait to get this trial decks. So far hyped and hope we get the deck boxers on English
been out of the vanguard scene since 2014, slightly interested in coming back now. TCG's are an expensive hobby though, and i'm poor. This starter deck seems like a good deal, doubt it will be as good a deal when it comes out in english though unfortunately
I just realized that the TD is technically not tournament legal if you use the sleeves lol The ride deck has to be sleeved differently from the rest of the deck
I want to pick up all 3 trial decks. As for which one(s) I want to build, as interesting as Lianorn deck is, I think I'm going to just go with Youthberk since I'm a Keter Sanctuary player since I play Bastion, with me being a Paladin user (mainly Royal Paladin due to the Blaster Blade legend deck being my first deck) in CFV
Maybe I am late but I am loving this decks and as a new player they are fantastic. Other thing what is the music from the background? I need that catchy melody
Definitely most hyped for Youthberk, love the aesthetic, love the RevolDress mechanic. I'd already put in my preorder for it (along with a couple boxes of Set 6) before this video released and now I'm extra glad I preordered it!
Hi DifferentFight, Thank you for your content as a player from the US your explanations were very helpful! Do you know when these decks will release in English?
Can’t wait to get them in English, too bad the products outside of Japan will not get the special treatment. I would love sleeves….more Bushiroad Official sleeves. Oh yeah, Definitely gonna pick up Drajeweled because I want a good Dark States deck for cheap. Maybe Youthberk….I don’t know….they’re probably gonna be Meta anyway..
@@fenrirmoonfang5342 No mention of sleeves on the product page, but they mention the order PG being included in the product itself, so...maybe in exchange for not having the sleeves, we get the PG inside of the deck itself instead of how Japan handled it? Which I'm fine with, I'll gladly sacrifice the sleeves in order to guarantee the order PG even if I order the trial decks online (which is most likely how I'll have to pre order the decks, so I'm glad I'll be able to get the order still)
Woah, free sleeves and deck boxes they literally solved my biggest issue of buying decks sometimes. This makes me wonder 1) why other companies don't do this? and 2) if it successful will bushiroad keep this up and will other companies follow suit?
Clapping Dragon looks better than Groovy Dragon but there are major issues with Clapping that make Groovy the better pick. Mainly that it is on-place meaning after that one turn it is stuck as a vanilla not doing anything and since it is a G3 instead of a G2 you can't intercept to get rid of it. Needing the opponent to be G3 is also a big problem too because then you can't use it to bully G2 opponents when going first.
Planning on getting the Lianorn Trial deck to use for my Rorowa deck. I'll use the triggers and PGs and some other cards if I find them useful. Don't know what I'll do with the Rideline...
One thing about english release for vanguard is the length of time between when it's released in Japan and here. I get why but it's SUCH a big gap that were already finding out about the next set AFTER the next set when the last set releases in english it fees like.
i wanna get all of them once and a second one from the dark states dragon for a playset of the extra cards :) hope they release like this here in europe
Its all great, but my biggest gripe is they didn't include any cards to explain C-Blast/Charge and S-Blast/Charge as in my experience with teaching players, thats what they get confused with the most. I'm kinda surprised we don't get 4 copies of the G1 and G2 of the ride line as we usually do. They have really good and simple RG effects so it feels like a waste making certain "bad" cards in the deck and not having enough copies of cards a player would normally want to mess around with.
Yes, but...you were gonna replace them with the set 6 cards anyway. Name one start deck/trial deck ride line that legit plays more than one copy of their ride line pieces that isn't the grade 3. I'm not too hurt only getting one copy of each ride line piece because I was gonna run only one copy of each anyway once set 6 comes out and I upgrade the decks with the better support.
@@vgmaster02 Well so far none of the start/trial decks had g1 and g2 of the rideline being good enough to run in the main deck. There are actually some really nice ones in these 3 new trial decks, for example you can run multiple copies of the G1 Drajeweled line for a very aggressive early game. But yeah I agree, majority of the time you don't need the ones in the main deck, but having more copies of them would be welcome depending and not force you to buy 4 trial decks.
@@elin111 No, it is. Product page says the box itself will act as a storage box for your deck. Only thing it doesn't mention is the sleeves, so we're most likely not getting the sleeves in English. However, in exchange of that, the English product will include the order PG inside the deck itself, so even if you have to order the product online, you will still get the order no matter what.
Trial Decks in Overdress are a major improvement from previous formats. The cards in the trial deck are actually used in the proper deck with full support for one thing.
@@elin111 Every era has improved on trial decks. G improved on them by including PGs, multiple copies of the main boss unit, etc., and reduced it down to needing two trial decks for full playsets. V era improved further on that by including full playsets of the important cards, meaning only needing to buy one trial deck to be good right out the gate. And now D era has improved upon that by including actual tutorial cards to make it really easy to learn the game, while still giving you the same cards with their actual skills once you're ready to play the deck full power out the box. I like that Bushi is making trial decks beginner friendly with each era. This is how all trial/start decks should be in all TCGs. Easy to follow rules while giving you full power cards once you're comfortable with the rules.
4 of the main boss G3 and only 1 of each of the other members G0-2. So you'll have to buy the others as singles if you're a playset collector (which since they all have a chance of being foil, you were gonna do that anyway in order to have blinged out playsets of each one)
Personally not a fan of thesd TDs, yes we get sleeves and a box but the viable cards are in the promo pack? And at 1 or 2 copies for some of them at that? Then the whole controversy of getting 1 PR per 2 TDs purchased outside of Japan? Come on Bushi you are better than this
Wow these trial decks are amazing and an absolute steal. Like providing sleeves, a deck box, completely beginner friendly which could switch into the usual decks. Such a win GJ bushi
God, I just love the new trial deck design. Definitely building Lianorn too so super hype about this!
Definitely cool, though the only one I would bother getting is Lianorn. Can't wait for the next archetypes/structure decks.
This is so cool, I like the reasoning behind it a lot.
Coming from Yugioh the existing design for the decks was already very welcoming but this goes even further. Fantastic move to introduce new players, gotta take my hat off to bushi.
More importantly, you only need to buy one copy of the trial deck rather than 4.

Well this kind of Td packaging reminds me of the old HS set we use to have during the Og and he G era set when we have a TD Sleeve and Promo.
i wish they did this for the english copy's as well i still need to buy sleeves in bulk
after just getting the first 2 starter decks for christmas
I hope that the trail decks in EN have the same free stuff as JP.
Looking forward to Drajeweled for sure. Don't really play Keter and Lianorn hasn't given me enough to pull me away from Momokke as my Stoichea Deck.
Seeing how the empty box looks like a diorama, I wanna see someone make it into shadow box art
Lianorn is all that matters. It has Melodia Pomera in it.

The price for starting playing is so cheap, that I just can't help to think of buying it.
Definitely recommend it!
honestly super happy how the new trial decks are. do you think us in the english format will get them the same way?
I think it might be without the sleeves :(
sleeves make sense. kinda see them almost as like a special first wave buy. to be honest id be fine if we got ride sleeves in english release
