🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOPS#TO...
Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_r...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

I'm a simple man. I see Class 323; I instantly click the video and like.
And a West Midlands unit too! I thought we were in the West Midlands due to the thumbnail, only to realise we're in Northern territory once I started watching the video. Nice catch!
Glad to see we’re alike.

Oh that’s what I did
Nice compilation.
Awesome video as always Ross. Levenshulme looks like a fantastic station it’s brilliant to see that all of northerns old stock is chugging around happily. Also great to see the Pendolino in its pride livery. Avanti got it spot on! Great work🙂
great tones from that 331 and holy they do accelerate fast and make a cool sound, great vid
Amazing video of trains at Levenshulme great variety and nice catch it the WMT 323.
Great amount of variety, and nice to see a visiting 323!
Nice video looks like the 323 WMT transfer is slow to Northern. Till the 720 threw cars which are replacing them come into service.
Great video Ross. Good to catch 390119 and WMR 323 on ECS. Keep up the good work 👍
Thank you very much for the upload.
A outstanding video and I just discovered your channel. A new sub!
An excellent video. Thank you for uploading this 🎉
25:59 that's rare
Amazing video
hmm my local 323 in the thumbnail at a station i never heard of, interested immediately!
Amazing video as always! 👍
I enjoyed this! Great work mate 😊
Please-do another video on the ecml, btw great content!
The fact that there were so many trains in this vid as well as plenty of yellow signals, slowdowns and delays explains how busy the mancunian section of the wcml is. No wonder they had to put manchester as part of hs2. Great work as always.
Yep Shree and this without EMR and TPE! 😃
Great video! I really enjoyed watching this could I recommend a station for you to do perhaps?
Just As Usual! 10/19

Sometimes I wish Manchester had a proper Suburban Rail System like London, Liverpool or Glasgow
The Tracks are there afterall
I tend to go past this station
I like how most people came here because of the Class 323 in the thumbnail
The West Midlands Railway Class 323 will be transferred to Northern once the Class 730/0 3-Car units have entered service on the Cross-City Line later this year.
5:42 how my PS4 sounds when I switch it on
I really love the 323s. Why were the ones in WMR livery up north?
@@Sophiebryson510 Tf?
I love cross country
18:22 You made a mistake there it says Bournemouth not Southampton Central
Good eye! My information is correct, this service was cancelled at Southampton Central due to running late (at the time) 😃
@@StarlifeStudios oh ok
Please do Forest Hill Next
25:53 Hang on where did that West Midlands railway 323 come from it’s supposed to be on the cross city line Ross
Longsight TMD does heavy maintenance on all of WMRs 323s. I believe this arrangement is to ensure that they are mechanically aligned so when they transfer to Northern, there are less issues. This particular unit had just finished being refurbished (hence the completely immaculate bogies)
@@StarlifeStudios really
What app do u use to make these videos? Just asking nice video btw
You should go to Atherstone and Crystal Palace
I wonder if any other country runs quite so many diesel trains under wires...
Levenshulme railway station is in Levenshulme, Manchester, England. The station is 3.1 miles south east of Manchester Piccadilly towards Stockport.
Four tracks go through the station, with the centre tracks used by fast trains and the outer by stopping trains.
What about going back to Cardiff Central for a update trains.
I covered Cardiff Central last year and it’s unlikely that I’ll go back until almost all of the new fleets are in service. I do have a Cardiff video coming soon though 😉
@StarlifeStudios Rail Videos OK. I recorded a test run 197s to (Swansea?) I can remember
Why are the trains going so slow through the station
