That raspy voice is my fav ❤❤
Crystal is not a member of TLC but she is a part of the TLC history. She helped bring the group together before Pebbles was involved. Also, if the group signed with a different label then she wouldve been in the group.
she kept saying Tionne voice was raspy like it's a bad thing..Like she mainly liked T cuz of her look..But The raspy voice is mainly TLC 's trademark or signature sound..That's the most recognizable sound about their group is Tboz's voice n what makes their group n sound unique.
Yeah but at least she didn't get ripped off like the girls did. Seem like a blessing in disguise.
Boils down to taste. Personally, I generally dislike raspy voices and much prefer singers whose voices are smooth and agile. Even if the voice is deep, I can still appreciate it if it's smooth.
I think "raspy" is just a way of describing if because it was...
She dodged a bullet. The rejection was her protection.

@@stacyr4768 I'm younger than the majority of my 1st cousins on my mom's side, so I see her more in my adult years than I remember as a child. Whenever I see her now, it's usually at her dad's place. Most of the time it's for some event, usually a holiday, but I've seen her at my uncle's house on a random day before too, and they talk on the phone, so they seem pretty close to me 😁

Unfortunately the others signed, but got a bad deal. Pebbles was fine but a diva and I wouldn't have trusted without representation.
They didn't get a "bad" deal. They got a standard industry new artist contract. However, after the first album's success the contract should be revisited in their favor, but they were denied by Clive Davis.
@@ItsAzzIzz you sure it's not management that hindered the renegotiating of the contract? I mean Clive has done good by other artist ie Whitney Houston, however their management is infamous for being shady.
@@stacyr4768 Pebbles was their manager at that time, according to her after debut album's success she went to Clive to renegotiate the contracts, but she was denied. And I believe her, because after she got fired by TLC, they got 2 more managers until they filed for bankruption, and none of them were able to increase their royalties rate, even after CSC success. So if 3 different managements teams couldn't do it, the problem definitely layed in the higher party.
@@ItsAzzIzz I've never heard her put the blame on Clive , all she does is speak in circles . She has a sneaky way of handling things. Have you heard the interview the ousted member or current members have done on her?
@@stacyr4768 she talked about this at least twice. She never speaks in circles, she just doesn't want to 'snitch' on the people she still is in good terms, even tho they did her dirty, not to mention that she and LaFace signed NDA when she sued them and they settled out of court. She was TLC's best manager and they had the best exposure when she was handling their business, even tho they were new on the scene. And Crystal is just sad bitter soul, battling depression for years, I wish her best.

keith holly , I think they may have let her be in the video. Even though pride got in the way. Sounds like she regret not trying for the opportunity. Listen to her sing now, I don't think she fit in.
Charles Clark No she did Not! It's looks great to us but you really dont know what go on behind closed doors. To this day, they don't have a group. After left eyes death, they couldn't get it together. It's not the same. I was thinking maybe she could have danced but what if they did not pick her, then that would've been another slap in her face.

They never recorded a song as "TLC." There is a 2nd Nature demo, but that's it. She's not a TLC member. Crystal I'm happy to hear your story, but move on. It wasn't meant to be for you in that group.
