This longing isn't just nostalgia it's a powerful desire to connect with an era that feels more real, more alive. The 80s, in my imagination, are a time of unbridled freedom, where life was lived fiercely and passionately. In that decade, the world pulsed with a more vivid, untamed energy, and I ache to experience it. To step into a dimension where the 80s are just beginning, to immerse myself in that rich dynamic of sights, sounds, and emotions that would be a dream, a chance to touch a part of history that my heart inexplicably calls home.
Exactly how I feel and thank you for expressing it so eloquently. The 80's were of another world, a completely different time and what an era to be young. I pity the teens of today to never have felt that free and careless.
Honestly, a lot of 80s movies about corporate dystopias set in the 2020s are actually playing out better than real life. because the movies actually had happy endings, and we just have higher rent.
The 80s truly encapsulated an era of unparalleled greatness, and its music remains an eternal testament to that golden age.
80s was the greatest time on earth, and 80s music was the greatest of all time!

Man, I didn't live in the eighties (I was born in 92'), but I feel so attracted to those times, I love the music, the fashion, the way to express things...I don't know, life then seemed to be so real, so free and so wild. Indeed, the FIRST decade that enjoyed the widespread start of consumer tech. BUT was still early enough that most things people needed to do, work for, sweat for and enjoy --- were still very "analog" and simple.
*Like for example using the rotary phone and calling your crush (and hope no one eavesdrops on the shared line) then strategically sending hand-written perfume-infused love letters via snail mail and hoping the postman (or a suspicious father) won't intercept and open it before your crush could.*

I made it using Midjourney😊 I think of design then use it to generate something. Then I do some edits and it’s ready. It’s a great app, super fun to use😃
